We dine at Jackalope Ranch frequently and have always found it to be very good overall. My wife loves the Jicama Avocada salad which can be ordered with your choice of protein or without. I love the half rack of Ribs on the Wrangler special that comes with some very good sides including the Ranch Beans that have small pieces of meat in the mix. Service is always excellent. We generally sit inside in a booth as it can be a little cool on the outside patio even though it is beautiful...
Loved the setting, Problem was, we had a 6pm reservation, but did not get seated until 6:15. Once seared, we were ignored for a half hour except for getting a glass of water I wound up going to the bar to get us some cocktails. It took forever to get served. It was fun watching the people dancing. Just a great spot to have fun. By the way, the food was Excellent! A little pricey, but the only real complaint was the service (or lack thereof). We had been forewarned about the service...
We always enjoy Jackalope and will return again. Service was a tad slow at the beginning which might have been staffing but Lillian was wonderful! Good variety on the menu as well. A little bit pricey I think but almost everything seems to be these days.
