The food is excellent and seasoned to perfection. But I'm writing this review about the outstanding customer service. After ordering online, I picked up my order and upon getting home I realized the order was incorrect. I called and talked to the lovely Tosha who admitted the restaurant's mistake (wrote down the order wrong), apologized, and offered me a free meal to make up for the mistake. Genuinely some of the best customer service in Los Angeles - I am so impressed. I can't thank you all enough. I was already a fan and loyal patron but this sealed the deal. Please support this business!

Absolutely phenomenal food with wonderful service. Tasha was very lovely and provided great recommendations(catfish & red snapper). The XL family pack is massive and can easily feed 5 people - incredible value for the quality of food you get. Highly recommend the collard greens and mac & cheese. All their sauces are perfect combinations for the food. Can't wait to go back!

I knew I was coming for some soul food, but i didn't know it was gonna be FRESH! I am so glad I stumbled by this black owned business and love the idea of second chances! Now let me tell you about this poboi! Yummy ?. All I kept saying while eating was "this is good." I ordered fish too, but I haven't tasted it yetI will be returning, I'm sure! I drove from Fontana to get this mac n cheese!

I've always ordered via Doordash so I'm not sure about the atmosphere, but...the fish is delicious! I've ordered from here several times and have never been disappointed. We normally order the Catfish/Swai meal with two sides-the fish is always moist and the batter/seasoning is perfection. It's never dry. overly oily, or flavorless...it's always amazing. We've tried the cornbread, hush puppies, mac and cheese and potato salad-all yummy and they're always great about sending a lot of condiments. My dad and I are pretty picky about our fish since he used to catch a lot of Catfish and prepare it at home, but 2nd Chance has it down! Love it! :)

I haven't eaten anything yet. Just here waiting for the food, but I was impressed by the friendly yet professional customers' service here! So I'm giving it a 5 star. I'll add to my review after I eat the food. (Ps: It's really clean inside too!)

It's decent. I got red snapper and shrimp combo with Mac & cheese and yams. The fish was cool, the shrimp was a little too salty for me, Mac and yams were okay. The place was clean with fast service, nice portions and serves a great cause.

I was excited to try this place after reading their story online, but their food and service made me a customer. And my dad...cuz he stole my banana pudding and I haven't stopped hearing about how it's the best he's ever had in his life. The fish and shrimp were well seasoned, the the sides were all delicious AND THE BANANA PUDDING IS TO DIE FOR. The cheesecake options are also very good. My family is big on getting together for dinner every Friday, and it looks like it's now going to be 2nd Chance Fish Fridays.

Solid...this spot was recommended by family & I had the opportunity to stop in...the lady behind the counter was Great...friendly & welcoming...I had the Catfish & Shrimp Lunch special...ate too fast to take pictures...the Catfish was superb...if you are in the area give them a try...my only knock is the ventilation was a little shaky & by the time my order was ready my eyes were running, but I still enjoyed my experience

Went here for the 1st time I had shrimp but every side they had was ordered besides onion rings. The fries, potato salad, and mac and cheese was the only thing I liked. I will never get the cabbage and coleslaw again. I did taste the greens I'm not a big fan of greens overall but I feel if you like greens you would like their greens. What I didnt like also is that there is no where to sit and eat in the inside. I drove about 40 mins to get there so it would have been nice to enjoy my food inside the establishment instead of in my vehicle.
