My favorite restaurant! I eat here at least once a month, and it has become a favorite of my entire family. The food is consistently amazing, the service is wonderful, and every visit feels warm and welcoming. This is truly one of those special restaurants where they treat you like family and genuinely make you feel at home every time you walk through the door.
I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the people, and the overall experience keep us coming back again and again. Please go and try it for yourself, and you’ll understand exactly what I mean!

Really bad Customer Service. We tried calling several times to place a phone order and ask questions due to dietary restrictions, but nobody would answer the phone.
I recently visited Betty Market and Restaurant for the first time. They sell real teff injera, which is fantastic. The restaurant was clean, and the service was good, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Great injera w real teff but you have order early / by noon for pick up. They offer fresh Jebena buna , they don't switch up the beans on you like other places would to speed up the service. Reasonable prices for lentils and other groceries

The food is phenomenally good (so succulent and well spiced), the owners are incredibly welcoming (had a ten minute chat with one of them when I first came in, the vibe among all the customer is neighborly and friendly (had a very great conversation with someone at a neighboring table). Incredibly reasonable prices. I had the best time there. Definitely my new favorite Ethiopian restaurant in LA, one that I am willing to drive quite a ways to get to. And don't forget to pick up some of the spices, injera, teff pasta, and legumes that they sell while you are there.

The location is not good, on a street with view of the cars but once inside the tiny restaurant is clean and cute.
The highlight is definitely John, the owner, attentve, polite, informative and with this great positive energy and greater smile.
Food did not disappoint, was fresh, delicius and tasted homemade. I will recommend it, you donβt have to be Ethiopian to love this genuine food. Taste the love they put in to prepare it. Will be back π€©
