I come here pretty frequently to buy the same items, so I know the prices pretty well.Today I went in and spotted a basket up front by the register that had candy for 50 cents each. I got 8 pieces, which would amount to $4. The heavy set woman with the glasses charged me $16 for the candy.When I noticed the mistake she made, she said to me "No, these are $2 each." I told her to refund me due to incorrect pricing that was posted by the market. She took the sign off the basket. I suppose she became frustrated and she gave me back the amount in cash of $16. As I was leaving, she said something in Spanish to the effect of '"Oh my goodness." I kept asking her about the charge and she was not understanding the issue, or she was playing dumb? Be careful and check your receipt. She didn't honor the price and took down the same sign that was there all week. Hot food is really good there, especially the carnitas and rice, but bruh, I wasn't born yesterday. The other younger ladies at the register are so sweet and friendly. I am from Nicaragua and understand and speak Spanish fluently, although I appear to look Middle Eastern. It's surprising when people don't think that you understand them when they speak. I could've easily embarrassed her, but I took the higher road and just left. If I walk in again and that woman is at the register, I'm leaving.

This place has incredible Mexican food. My friend and I were in Southern California for a week and we ate here the first night, after returning to LA today to catch our flight home to Canada, we just had to stop here again. This five star review is well deserved!

Hidden Gem! Mexicana Authentica. You get food on the ice cream side of the market and on the otherside is a deli and grocery store. Incredible LA / Inglewood find.

Don't be fooled by this little corner market, it is much more than that. This place has everything from produce, a carnicería (meat market) and all the groceries u might need. We came across it and have been coming here for lunch ever since. The service from the guys in the kitchen is excellent, always friendly and they greet you with a smile, they have all your Mexican antojitos like carne asada nachos, taquitos, tortas, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, you name it they have it or they will make it.The Snack shop on the side has alot of good stuff too like aguas frescas, esquites, fresas con crema and fresh fruit. Don't be afraid to ask for samples they are very friendly.

Couldn’t love this place anymore. Awesome staff and I mean come on the milkshakes are amazing. I’ve been going here ever since it opened and it has been amazing, delicious, exciting, I think it’s my favorite ice cream shop. Definitely recommend!!
