My shuttle driver had this chicken and recommended I give it a try. When I arrived, there was only one person in line ahead of me so I placed my order thinking my food would be out in about five minutes. It took about 15 minutes for my food to be cooked. I ordered one chicken leg, fries, and also of can of soda. There was some seating, but only enough for about 2 to 3 people total. Food came out hot of course. This is one of my favorite Louisiana fried chicken ?It is usually cooked to order, and the fries ? pretty scrumptious. They have a lot of meals specials combos also with a drink option.
Stayed across the street not to far from this location. The lady at the counter was always pleasant. The prices were very reasonable. The chicken was always fresh and really well seasoned. The fried okra was tasty too. The gumbo for some odd reason had just a hint of a sweet taste to it. Otherwise it would've been perfect.
