I was the only person in line for about 5 minutes. I was not acknowledged by the only person working. When she finally asked me, the person behind me said he was next. She changes her mind and then says he was next.That guy was an a hole. If management is reading this plz check ur cameras so this place can run a better operation . Time was around 450pm today . I'm the dude in a black shirt. I don't plan on ever going back or recommending this place. I'll be at Starbucks where they always greet you...always

I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.

I really love this place!! What a gem to have in our community. The service is excellent and the baristas are so professional. The prices are reasonable, pastries are delicious (cream cheese danish, coffee cake… yummm). I also really love the vibe and atmosphere. I definitely recommend coming here and supporting this business.

Update:they raised the prices but haven’t changed menu nor do they tell you when you order. It wasn’t till after I was charged that I realized the price increase. And service is the same: cold and unwelcoming.Waited over 20 minutes for a cafe au lait (it wasn't busy at all) and when it was finally ready it was just left on the counter while the employee socialized with a friend. The least she could've done was hand it to me and apologized for the wait when I walked up. Simple gestures go a long way.

I kind of got ignored when I walked up to the counter. With good customer service, u easily say, "Be right with you" or even, "hi" ... but when you stand there for a few minutes and they act as if you are not there... well, that can use some work.2nd disappointment to me was that it said no cash. That drives me nuts. I am cash only.. so I was about to walk out, but the gentleman finally took my order. A girl clocked in and asked to pay me out, but asked if I was cash or credit. So I used cash. I asked if it was credit only, and she said they usually don't keep change, but if I had exact change, it was fine. So I was cool with that. They had enough change to break a 5 after I paid 15 for my 2 drinks and didn't want my change back. But I got to tip, which if I get a service I always do.I'd like to give this place a better review, but sadly, it lacked. Maybe I'll try again. I skipped like 4 Starbucks to try to support the small guy. That's how I roll. So they deserve 3, and hopefully, they will get 5 stars when I return 1 day.Rooms: This is not a hotel. They do not have rooms. This is a small coffee shop only.Parking: Meters for change
Warmed my heart this morning with a sweet potato croissant and a large cup of coffee. The woman behind the counter had that "elevated soul" energy which made it a blessing just to be there.
