This was a great little "hole in the wall" style soul food restaurant that I lived going to for breakfast. The atmosphere was great as was the staff, so it's a shame that this location is permanently closed.

My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon. The atmosphere was nice we ate in, they played r&b hits, our table wasn't the cleanest upon sitting but I didn't mind wiping it.Our server was working the entire store including the outside, I feel as though she could've have used some help.As for the food, it came out in about 10-15 mins. My husband said his mashed potatoes and gravy was cold, the greens were bland, but he did enjoy the smothered pork chops and...

I was looking for some soul food in California other than fixins I stumbled across this place it's a small place in the inside there's not a lot of seating but I was able to get a seat and dine in..... The food came out fresh hot and really good the Kool-Aid was really delicious...... Shrimp and grits a little on the salty side could use a little more sauce..... But overall everything was pretty good ?
