In the small town of Ione, there isnt much of a wine experience. Sure, there's the hotel and the cafe but nothing close to a tasting room. Till now. Set in the back of a western store called Mane Street Tack, Wine a Little is a nice respite away from the outside world. With an excellent selection of whites and reds from Oak Ridge winery and designed to look in part like a covered wagon, the atmosphere sets itself apart from other tasting rooms in the area. The perfect place to pop into after finishing coffee with the girls at The Corner. It's so nice to have some place in Ione for wine (they do also have bottled beers). You can do a wine tasting - hello, 6 off the list for $5! - or order by the glass or bottle. Prices were reasonable, atmosphere was warm and quiet. I will be back, I only wish they had later hours!
