I gave 5 stars to this store a few years ago. Today I'm downgrading it to 1. What's the deal with all the stuff behind glass and locks?! It made me feel so bad, so unwelcomed at this store, even though I spent over $200. It's ridiculous that I have to ask permission to buy some soap that costs 3.99. It felt like a prison commissary. This is so cold and impersonal. And why soap and detergent anyway? If I could still buy unconfined coffee that costs $19. Isn't Irvine the safest city, bla bla bla? This store used to be the cleanest, brightest, have the best variety of products and brands. I don't intend to understand it or to come back ever again.

I come here about once to issue a money order. 80% of time no service. I am refused this service at this moment. Sorry that I walked half an hour just to get this location

A third of the store is locked up now behind glass shelves, and you have to wait a few minutes for an associate to come get stuff for you. It's even more of a pain if you need multiple items at once -- the employee has to basically go on a shopping trip with you, opening cases up one at a time. I've worked loss prevention at a major corporation, and decision makes no sense from an LP perspective, especially in a low-crime area like Irvine. There is no way they were losing so much money on shoplifting to justify this. Who's walking out of the store with giant containers of laundry detergent? I'll drive a few extra minutes to go to Ralph's now -- their prices are lower, anyway. I only shopped here for the convenience to home, but now a shopping trip is inconvenient if you need anything that's locked up.

This place is super convenient and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. My only qualm with this place is simply not having a self-checkout area, and they definitely have the space for that, which you can see as soon as you enter the store. In addition, they could do better with their produce. But I often go to Ralph's simply because they have self-check out. Oh and if you're a company doing any kind of business and not doing tap-to-pay, seriously?

I love shopping here. Ned & Tacy knows their customers. The Albertson app saves lots of money with the digital coupons and deals on select items. If you spend about 4 minutes going through the deals and coupons, select ones that you want to buy. the. enter your phone number when checking out, you may save quite a bit. Clean and neat. The self check out is a blessing when you need to get just a few things that’s non-alcoholic.

Do not buy gift cards from Albertsons! They are selling defective gift cards! On 01/30/24 I bought $300 gift card vanilla visa. I have receipt! The card had no barcode, I was not able to use the card. When I came back to Albertsons manager told me all sales are final! When I called phone number on the back of gift card no one answer the phone! My bank said the same- all sales are final. It’s unbelievable that Albertsons sells defective cards! I attached the pictures of my gift card with no bar code. Stay away from Albertsons!

This Albertsons has everything! The store is clean and things are easy to find. They open at 6am and close at 11pm. I recommend picking up some scented candles at great prices.

A lady works there extremely rude and lazy. Possibly racist Went to pick up delivery order today with no information about the content. After i walk all way to the back she asked me to go get a cart . I went back got one and then she asked me to go bring my id for the alcohol. Which she did not mention at the beginning. Surprisingly also the order i could carry with no cart but she wanted me to grab her a new one. I have cancelled the order as i will not go all the way back to the parking lot two times because she wanted me to grab her a new cart and because she did not mention the alcohol. And when i asked her why you did not tell me there is alcohol no reason provided. As a customer as i live very close by and used to shop there a lot wont be shopping here again and for my extra delivery activity no more requests from that store

Went to pick up delivery order today with no information about the content. After i walk all way to the back she asked me to go get a cart .
