Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana

I recently celebrated a birthday with a group, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. The appetizers, in particular, were delicious. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed the evening.

My first visit to this incredible place.
I was impressed with the amazingly delicious flavors they offer on there food plates. Especially the spaghetti and meatballs so full of natural flavors.
Definitely I will return many times there menu is a large one.

We always love Angelina's! The pizza, caprese salad and the meatballs are amazingly flavorful. The servers are great and kind. The desserts are great too. I do miss the tart with vanilla gelato but the pana cota with blueberries was very good too.

I don't know if it was just understaffed the day we went but service was a bit slow, but otherwise the vibe, atmosphere and the food was all excellent, and we didn't even order the pizzas they are famous for! Will definitely be back for more!

Overall experience was not good. Probably the first time I’m compelled to give a review like this.

We ordered 3 things. One was good. Two were okay.

The service was not good. The lady who served us probably had a bad day. I literally would get up walk to them to ask for things. They barely wanted to educate us on the menu. Recommendations were off, the pricing was further off because of the recommendations. We were charged like $16 for a substitution.

We were excited since this was in our neighborhood but I don’t think we will be motivated to go there again. The price and the overall experience did not make sense.

This location is a very worthy and convenient alternative to their larger restaurant in Laguna Niguel Bottega Angelina. Everything we’ve tried at their restaurants is very well done, the service is exceptional, and the wines and bar drinks are first rate. Our first experience here was during the quarantine when we had to get a takeout pizza on short notice and with disheveled appearance, and the people that took care of us were as gracious as could be. That experience made a great impression. All the subsequent visits have reinforced this impression.

The male server with blue eyes and slightly blond hair was very kind and attentive. However, overall, the food was tailored too much to the American palate and cannot truly be called authentic Italian. The dishes felt overpriced for the quality. The prosciutto on the pizza was tough and lacked harmony in flavor, and the pasta in the Vongole was a poor match, leaving me very disappointed. I ended up leaving a significant amount of food uneaten and did not take it to go.

Extremely slow service. Despite plenty of empty tables, it took 10 minutes just to be seated. Another 15 minutes went by before anyone came to take our order, then 8 more minutes to tell us one dish wasn’t available. It took another 5 minutes just to place a replacement order.

The food itself was underwhelming—one dish was plain and flavorless, another was overly greasy. Definitely not what I’d call delicious.

What made it worse was watching people who arrived just before us already eating while we were still waiting to place our order. By the time our food finally came, other tables had already finished and left.

Overall, a very disappointing experience.

8 mins to know who is my server, another 8 mins to get my first water, and another 5 mins to tell me my appetizer is not available, 3 mins to get me the menu again, and 5 mins to order my kissing appetizer, sit for almost 30 mins without nothing. Service is below the bar. 40 mins , I haven’t seen any food on my table. Not even appetizer.

I give 2 stars because manager came and offered me a free dessert.

I really like this place! They have a fantastic cocktail with st. germain and pom juice that I highly recommend. Nice bar and often busy around dinner time. Slightly overpriced but I'll certainly be back :)

Wonderful experience in every way! Delicious food, amazing cocktails, excellent service and exquisite atmosphere. Our server Luca was very friendly and professional. He made us feel right at home and took great care of us. Everything was great!
