I like this place a lot although I experienced a bit of priority with being Korea. My guy and I wanted to pay tap pay because we saw a worker bring tap pay to a lady and her granddaughter it looked like but they probably spoke Korean to them, when we wanted to do the same she just dismissed us to paying at the front......... I also speak a bit of Korean so I overheard a little bit.... Oh oops this was the one in Garden Grove, not here but the same company...

Extremely Salty Soup – Very Disappointed with My Recent Visit
I just visited BCD Tofu House today after years of being a loyal customer, but I am truly disappointed. The soup I ordered was so salty that it was literally inedible – it tasted like drinking salt water. After just a few bites, my tongue is still burning and numb even now. This is not the quality I used to know from BCD.
I’ve always enjoyed dining here, but after this experience, I don’t think I can come back. If the food continues to be this salty, it could seriously harm customers’ health, leading to issues like high blood pressure. I really hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and adjusts the seasoning to maintain the health and satisfaction of its guests.

I would give it 10 star if I could. it’s always crowded during normal lunch or dinner time. We went at 2:30pm and got seat straightaway. It’s pretty spacious inside. The combo lunch meal got special price, for $23.99 you got a full bulgogi and a toufu soup. The bulgogi comes with huge portion of meat, see my photo, and the spicy pork is super delicious. The small size soup also has tons of ingredients. And each meal comes with a fried fish. I can’t recommend BCG toufu more, no wonder it’s so popular.

Every visit here is a win. The tofu stew is rich and full of flavor, and the seafood pancake with marinated crab was spot on. Even the side dishes impressed me, especially the crispy fried fish. It can get busy, but it's absolutely worth the wait.

BCD tofu house offers authentic Korean kitchen, located in the heart of the Asian community in Irvine. The food never disappoints and it’s an ideal spot for a quick lunch after or before shopping at H-Mart. The lunch Menus are also designed amazingly with a meat or also vegetarian side dishes as well as a soup. You also get refillable authentic Korean side dishes such as Korean fish cakes, squid salad and spicy cucumbers as well as a personal favourite, a yellow corvina and of course kimchi. Overall a well balanced meal that is not too unhealthy and tastes absolutely delicious every time!
