We ordered the bulgogi and the galbi dosirak boxes which were like large deluxe bento boxes.
Each box included the main meat selection, a large serving of rice (which they graciously offered to split 1/2&1/2 with salad), 2 of their meat/noodle fried dumplings, 3 small servings of banchan/veggie pickles, and a scoop of japchae/glass noodles.
This box was a generous serving of food. As pictured, the fork is extra large... It's lots!
I want to go back to try the Kimpap. We especially liked their dumplings and galbi was tender and delish!
It's ok korean rice oriented food: bibimbab, lunch box (doshirak), and kimbab. However, they lack flavor and some of banchans need to be cooked with little more soy sauce. Mandu should be fried at higher temp little longer. Steam rice was pretty good but bulgogi was tough and again lacking flavor. Kimbobs were wrapped in foils so can't see the content.
I'm reviewing it as ok but not good only because the store being in Quail Hills, food are fairely expensive. I'm a korean American and can probably cook same items better at home, which would be a big redding for any korean restaurants.

This lil place is serving up some fresh Korean food! I love grabbing a little kimbap for lunch. Everything tastes great. The employees are always kind and helpful.
Best Korean Banchans though some items are a little pricey. Can you please sell more of the seaweed soup with beef? No more seaweed soup with clam please. 🙏

The good - service & nice to go packaging with sauce even taped to cover of bowl.The bad - chicken or beed in the Bimimbap is less than if you cut up a slider. And you can’t choose tour own sides, it’s pre-packed.CA Gogi at UCI Center is way better.

Wow! The food is shockingly good. I ordered a short rib bowl tonight to go. The veggies were fresh and the beef was delicious. I really like the sauce and the light dressing on the greens. It's not fancy inside, more of a to go type restaurant. I will definitely be eating here a lot. 10/10

I was offered to try sample bagel chips at Dosirak Express and I was blown away with the first bite!!!! It’s sooooooo good. If you like the garlic flavor, it’s a must TRY!!
