The lady who works behind the counter has a bad attitude, and was very rude. Never make eyes contact when talking in a curt and rude tone. The store was quite small, not a lot of varieties in bread. Will be the first and last time I'm there due to the customer service of this particular rude lady.

I found mold on the bread. I bought last Saturday. Today is Monday. I want to have it at breakfast just now. It has mold taste. Really sick. The quality is not good anymore! ... The slice I bite is thrown. The other slice is in picture.

Love Duke Bakery! Best bread ever! Grace is always nice kind, always has sweet smiling on her face to everyone. She gives us warm welcoming feeling every time I go to Duke Bakery.

I went to this plaza to get sunright. When I was about to drive off, a lady from the bakery shop approached me and told me that I didn't pay. I was like what? I didn't even go there. She said I was the lady who came in, and the credit card didn't go through. Again I said it wasn't me. She didn't even apologize to me and gave me a stare when I left.

This is a picture of the bread with banana filling...about 2 teaspoons of banana, that's all. I've been coming to Duke bakery about 5 years and each time the fillings are less and less. I'd pay the extra money to actually get the fillings, in case that's the issue. The customer service is hit or miss--some employees are very nice and others are extremely rude.

The Chinese cashier lady is not helpful and no clue with all the order. She does not seems to be interested in helping. Especially the one with glasses. Rude.

Tried an assortment of breads here and only liked the walnut bread. The other breads were dry and flavorless. I prefer 85 degrees over Duke.

Came here for Scone, my favorite! Ordering our annual dinner breakfast here. Good service , delicious bread!

Delicious breads made from grape yeast. My favorite is the Choco Blue Mt. Coffee, which is a coffee flavored bread with walnuts and chocolate chips. Their mango mochi breads are also delicious - they're dinner roll sized and have the same fluffy texture with an amazing mochi filling. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the breads here but they're also on TooGoodToGo, which is an inexpensive way to try their breads if you don't know what to choose.

Used to frequent this bakery often as my family enjoys their mousse cakes. However, it really has gone downhill in the last year or so. Their individual cake slices are not fresh and I even found mold in them a few months ago. Last week, I came in and ordered 2 long cakes for Thanksgiving. I specifically asked what time I can come to pick up the cakes and the cashier said any time. I notified the cashier I will come at 10 am. The day of, I show up and my cakes are not ready. It doesn't seem like the cakes are made in house as the cashier today said my cakes were delivered to another location. Not sure if that's just an excuse or if the cakes are brought from a different location. Now I'm left on thanksgiving morning without my order I made ahead of time. No apology given either. One mistake can be excusable but it seems like this has become the new norm here, unfortunately. Poor quality and mold in pastries and horrible customer service. I can't say I'm willing to give this place another chance anymore. UPDATE: So the cashier offered a round mango mousse cake to make up for the inconvenience. Initially, I was willing to accept the attempt to making things right. I go to my family's for Thanksgiving and it's time to serve the cake only to find it to be completely frozen! 1. Complete disappointment to find out their cakes are not baked freshly and are actually frozen 2. The cashier could've at least mentioned it was frozen and suggested to leave it out for certain amount of hours before serving to thaw out. We tried to enjoy the cake but it was icy and completely flavorless. One disappointment after another.

The pastries look delicious and made with love! The service was fast and polite. I say the place is small but full with delicious delicious delicacies one should go and get two or more if you want to bring joy to a party.

This is a small bakery on Jeffrey Boulevard but delicious items to choose . I always buy the bread very fresh and a pastry item. Customer service is excellent and very friendly. It's a very busy strip mall so parking is difficult. It's worth your trip to try this bakery

Great bakery. I love the garlic bread they have.

Delicious Taiwanese pastries. Large portions and pricing range form $2.50-5. Their white and what toast are very healthy and delicious. They use good ingredients and their mottos is low sugar low fat and low calories. They have delicious red bean and taro pastries and their pastry is quite soft and fresh. I often visit here for baked goods. Only downside is that they don't make fresh breads here. The bread is delivered daily from their Rowland Heights location.
