Noodle Nest is a cozy, flavorful escape for anyone who loves a good noodle dish. The menu offers a great mix of Asian-inspired bowls, from rich ramen to savory stir-fried noodles—and every dish tastes like it’s made with care.
I had the spicy miso ramen and it hit all the right notes—perfect broth, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are bold without being overwhelming.
The space is clean and inviting, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Noodle Nest is a go-to spot for comfort food done right.

The food isnt very good. It lacks flavor.
The skewers were disappointing.
Even the water taste funny. However, the can coca-cola was good. Give it a go if you'd like but anything else is better.

Noodle is decent here. The soup is a bit plain, not as flavorful as I expect a braised beef noodle would be. Its not bad, just not what I expected. I ate here when the restaurant was Chef Hung and I prefer its flavor.
Service: friendly and nice staff. Nothing outstanding. They provide all the basic needs.
Ambiance: clean and modern. Spacious.

The restaurant is classy looking, but it's casual. Located in the diamond jamboree Plaza.
I was craving Braided Beef Noodle Soup so decided to try this place out though now I know I still prefer Taiwanese styled Beef Noodle soup which is more flavorful than Lanzhou styled Beef Noodle soup which is made with a clear broth. Nevertheless, I added black vinegar, soy sauce and a little chilly oil which gave it more flavor. I do appreciate the handful of bok choy as many restaurants will only give a sprinkle and the meat was pretty tender. The noodles tasted fine. They were not extra chewy as I would expect hand-pulled noodles to be.
I would try this place again, but not for the beef noodle soup.

The quality and taste of the food is really bad. The xiao lao bao were not fresh at all, it is hard and cannot even chew it. The lamb skewers are also tasteless, I think they didn’t even marinate.

This is a popular Chinese restaurant in a very popular plaza in Irvine. We came here for lunch and there were just a short wait time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and bright. The food is decent and generous portions. This is an handicap friendly facility. Extremely limited parking in the front but the parking structure is a way better option.

My son and I came for lunch since I’m a fan of Chinese noodles. This store did not disappoint! My son got the beef noodle soup, which was hearty and wasn’t spicy (I think there’s an option to make it spicier, but my son can’t handle too much spicy foods). We also got the spicy beef and potato slice as a cold appetizer and garlicky bok choy; both of which were absolutely delicious! Even though the cold appetizer had chili oil, it provided just the right amount of kick without being too spicy.
Personally, I got the intestine with wide/flat noodles, which tasted amazing! You can tell the broth sat marinating for a few hours, as the rich taste blended well with the firm noodles.
Ambiance-wise, it does seem a bit threadbare, but I’m not too bothered by this. Also, don’t expect attentive service. While it is a sit-down restaurant, you order through a QR code on the table and you’ll have to ask the server(s) for water refills, as they don’t seem to do this automatically. These aren’t showstoppers, which is why I rate only four out of five stars for service and atmosphere.
Also, note that the prices are a tad high, but the portions are generous! It’s definitely meant for family style sharing or if you are a single eater with a crazy appetite.
In a place with lots of great Asian places to eat, Noodle Nest does its best to stand out.

Great food, large portions. Everything is made fresh and in house and everything is well seasoned, including vegetable items that many places leave under seasoned and uncared for.

The place looked less crowded compared to the other nearby restaurants. It seemed fairly decent, and the food was okay; however, both my friend and I got food poisoning.
It can’t be a coincidence—we shared the same meal.
