This Japanese curry house is a top spot for authentic flavors. For a real kick, try spice level 7 to experience both heat and flavor. Their combination chicken cutlet with vegetables is my go-to, and they offer tasty add-ins at a reasonable price. However, I've noticed a considerable reduction in portion size recently. Enjoyed dining here & re-experience Coco in Japan. The US version had a relatively simpler menu than Japan version though despite the simplicity, it’s still extensive. Japanese Curry fans this is a required pilgrimage.

I love Coco Ichibanya. It is my favorite Japanese curry restaurant around. The curry is just the right amount of savory and spicy. The katsu and French fries are always perfectly cooked and crispy. You can't do much better in South Orange County.
