Solid Taiwan breakfast fare. I love coming here for salty soybean milk (though I wish they put more goodies inside), mantou, scallion pancakes, egg pancakes, radish cakes, rice rolls wth pork floss, and a variety of Taiwanese buns.

The food quality doesn't come close to what you can get in Taiwan (obviously), but it certainly hits the spot when in the US.

Service can be a bit slow sometimes, and maybe a bit gruff. The restaurant atmosphere...

I was excited to have a Taiwanese breakfast, something we can't get in Bakersfield, but I was disappointed. We arrived around 10 am, and after ordering at the counter, we waited over 35 minutes to get our first items, a steamed bun and the salty soy pudding (鹹豆花). The soy pudding was barely even room temperature - I would have expected it to be hot, as it is at most other places. That was very disappointing. I waited another 10 minutes to finally get the vegetarian...

If you like Taiwanese breakfast and are in the area, come here!

Of course Taiwan is better but this definitely scratches the itch.

If you order from the machine it appears to go faster. I came early enough that there was no line.
