The food here is great. I ordered agedashi tofu and cheese tonkatsu. Agedashi Tofu is probably one of the best here at OC that I've tried so far. The cheese tonkatsu was very good too. I only wish the rice was a bit bigger.
Food is good, pricing is fair, most of the wait-staff is friendly with the exception of the male host at the front who handles phone orders. His customer service is lacking extremely, so much so, I would think twice about ordering take-out from here
I've been here several times. First time was before COVID probably under old ownership.
I don't want the business to fail since Hako has pretty good Katsus and their cold noodle is also good. But I see the quality of service and small dishes are diminishing, and it probably hit the lowest last week when I went there.
We ordered a takoyaki as appetizer and two of 4 or 5 didn't have any octopus, just batter slightly uncooked...
