I ordered two cream pans and let me say it doesn't disappoint. So if you love creamy custard filling folded into buttery bread that is made with TLC, then Hamada-Ya Bakery is the place to go. Now let's say you eat one and save the other for the next day, I suggest refrigerating it. Then when you want to eat it take it out of the fridge and let it sit until it's room temperature. Your taste buds are going to be very happy you did. ?

An absolute must whenever I'm here. My boyfriend loves their strawberry cheesecake Danish pastries, but my recent favorites have been the Almond Danish and spicy curry donut. The curry packs some heat, which was surprising because I feel most "spicy" Japanese dishes are relatively mild for my taste buds.

Other items that I like, but haven't had a ton of repeats have been the custard pudding, bavarian chocolate, mixed fruit tart and red bean cream bun. It's not because they weren't good, but I had my eyes on the strawberry danishes. They always sell out if you come later in the day.

However, I think I may try to venture out of my norm on my next visit.

totally slept on bakery in irvine. great sammies, bread, pudding, choco donut, etc. havent tried their drinks though.... not sure if drinks are any good?

5 stars are for this Boloniya. This is so delicious! A must try bread of this bakery.
