Honestly was really impressed with Haven Point! I had dinner here one night and breakfast for 3 days. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the food was delicious. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

This is the restaurant in the Sonesta Hotel in Irvine and deserves to be frequented by more than hotel guests. The staff is really lovely and they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, of course the food is very good and portions are plentiful. I hope you get to enjoy this spot sometime:)

Colleague and I had dinner last night and had a pleasant experience this time around. I have to say the food was delicious and the overall experience made up for the less than favorable experience last time. Amazing food the manager was so kind and explained all the wonderful things that happen here. Their chef is from Hawaii and that first bite of short ribs was fantastic! Definitely not hotel food! Definitely a A plus !!

Wow! First and foremost, I want to shout out Augustine.. He was absolutely amazing. He was a one man show other than the cooks. He made us delicious drinks, was there in a timely manner every time we needed anything. He was friendly and working hard to make sure we were taken care of. We started with the Fiery Strawberry Margarita and the Spicy Daisy, both were very yummy, but we liked the strawberry one more. The Spicy Daisy has a smokey flavor, but the strawberry one was more refreshing. For the Appetizer we got the Crispy Squid and Shishito Peppers... SOOOOO GOOD!!! We demolished that dish... I'd be absolutely happy to just have drinks and this appetizer... The only thing left was the stems from the peppers. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Matt got the Sea Bass and I got the pan roasted chicken, very good, no complaints! For dessert we got the Churros, very good! We will be going back and most definitely recommend stopping by!

I stayed in this racist run, overpriced hotel 6 months. I was quoted a rate of $94, they uncharged to $112 after 30 days, exceeding the corporate quoted rate, as well! Corporate gave me case after case number and then finally responded: "They cannot override the managers, who can charge whatever they want!" If you're an upper class, white, professional, they'll rob, then abuse you! They did this to me and many others, as stated here! Also, to 2 other guest friends of mine, one an RN. Then, upon giving notice, we're moving to a cheaper, nicer Sonesta, they called them before check in and blacklisted us both, leaving us out in the rain with nowhere to go! I might add I'm a disabled elderly lady, as was the nurse. Corporate confirmed 3 more reservations, none of which were honored. Not only did I pay $18 extra per day for 6 months, without notice, they also charged me the day of checkout at 11AM! Marcellus, the manager would kick my door when rent was due, rather than call or run my card on file. I often made staff gourmet meals, bought them gifts, tipped maids as they were kind and friendly. It's the male and female managers who were mentally and verbally abusive. The woman would say: "Go to your room!" They still advertise the original rate over a year later as the stay was May- Sept., but refuse to honor it or make any adjustment for the exorbitant overcharge. Corporate has no control or oversight, whatsoever! There was also a terrifying incident where a parollee at large followed me on the elevator to my room and tried to break in! I called the front desk; the guy came up and said: "he was afraid" and left! I called 911 in desperation myself! There's dirty, drunken tweaks hanging around the front and you'd think they'd want some class in this dive with such a bad rep! STAY AWAY!!!

Let me take a to shout out the amazing and sweet staff here. I was able to get an early check in, the resort fee covers a $10 credit per day for your stay, they were welcoming every time I walked in, friendly, personable, you just don't get customer service like this often any more, and let me say it's appreciated! Smiling and welcoming. A special shout out to the following: harmony, sabra, ashante, Vanessa, daintel, Tristan, Sophia, and Kenny. But let me not forget Augustine I believe his name was, at the bar, such a friendly nice guy, and let me tell you right now, the irvine sour ?? chefs kiss, the Mt fuji fries does not skimp on the crab! Room was clean, large, good size bathroom, great views, I will be back! I didn't get to check out the pool but I believe it's heated.

Fabulous place to dine! Flat bread is incredible. 1/2 price Thursday 4-6pm happy hour on the flat bread. Large salads, soups are wonderful. A must is the grilled bread basket-delicious

Love this hotel! Staff is always helpful. Love how the inside looks very elegant and calming. Get a high floor for a nice view especially the corner room amazing! Rooms are very clean as well. Will always recommend.

Stayed at the sonesta and stoped here for a late dinner and drink. We had the sliders and those were good. Our drinks were also delicious. Definitely a good hotel bar and restaurant.
