The food was sooo delicious! Out of all the popcorn chicken I've tried in the U.S, this place tastes the closest to what I eat in Taiwan. Their fried sweet potato balls are delicious as well. I'm not sure why this place only has 3.6 stars. The only downside was that I didn't see anyone cleaning the tables so when my friend and I sat down, our table was kind of creasy and covered in crumbs.

I do not like this kind of batter. It doesn’t add the crunch you’d expect from Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The flavors are okay otherwise.

Great Taiwanese chicken. Definitely get the popcorn chicken and taro yam balls for dessert. I like the blended teas because they're not too sweet.

Unfortunately this was a big disappointment. It’s not very expensive, but the flavors were not for me, the fried chicken breast was slimy and the breading separated, it was spicy but had a mix of other spices I think cumin, that unpleasant. The chicken sandwich was a skinny piece of chicken on a sweet bun, it was also not what I expected. Don’t waist your money, but if you must, try the popcorn chicken instead.

The food was great! What put me down is the service. You will need to speak perfect English so the guy standing behind the till can understand you.

The moment we walked inside it was a mess. Multiple tables were left dirty after the lunch rush and I'm not sure what excuse could be used as the young cashiers were chitchatting amongst themselves. We had to ask them to clean up the tables and I saw this as a minor since I worked in food years ago. No big deal.
The big deal was the chicken my husband ordered - chicken thigh combo. At first, they didn't include fries so he ran up to go get it. Then, he ripped his chicken in half and realized the chicken was straight up RAW. Can you imagine if a kid ate chicken raw? So we had to wait another 10-12 mins for them to fry him a new one and then that one was OVERCOOKED. Yeah sure they said sorry, but nothing else was done to mediate the situation. Just a giggle at the whole situation. Not cool especially because this is a basic food safety. While my order of chicken cartilage was delicious, I will be hesitant to give this place another go. We'll see.

good good good chicken it tastes just like the stores in Taiwan and fried chicken at taipei night markets in general. the skin’s a lot crispier than most fried chicken and the chicken itself is juicy. everything done fresh. GOOD fish cakes. very nice cashier too.

Not sure what the hate is for this place. I tried the fillet for the first time here today and it was excellent! Tasted just like the chicken fillets from Taiwan. It was made fresh, seasoning on point. You can literally see the five spice and sichuan on the fillet itself, even the pictures below. Overall, I would come back and get another.

Tastes fine. Nothing remarkable and not sure why it's so popular. As others mentioned, chicken is not very crispy nor juicy nor flavorful.
