I will start with the good: the food tasted okay. Other than that, I have nothing good to say about my experience here. I didn’t expect much from this location so I walked into this Kaju location thinking I was headed in for a nice meal with mediocre service and a slightly overpriced bill, but somehow it still managed to let me down. When we sat down, they brought us all the side dishes and water as normal except for the fact that there were so no cups brought to us for 10 mins and we had to ask for them. This later happened again with the egg that is supposed to come w the soft tofu we ordered, but this wasn’t my biggest gripe with this location. The lady who served us was so rude and condescending when we had a simple question. We had one lady tell us the bibimbap didn’t come with rice (????) and when we asked the other she had the worst attitude ever and looked at us as if we were stupid. Now I have no problem paying for a good meal, and $30 for a bibimbap and soft tofu would’ve been alright had it not been for the fact that the portions were actually TINY. When they brought the food out there was this moment when I thought I was at a Michelin restaurant and they were serving me a tasting menu. I just can’t justify the price to meal ratio I got served because it was just ridiculous. Also, by the “no rice” comment they meant no rice for the soft tofu, which is just confusing to me because rice must be one of the CHEAPEST ingredients to buy and I must imagine they are not lacking for the money to give us one measly bowl of rice. The best part is they don’t even sell individual bowls of rice so we had to split the rice in the bibimbap. This would’ve been okay had there been MORE THAN TWO BITES OF FOOD IN OUR BOWLS. Overall, horrible experience with rude servers who didn’t drop by one time and portions that belong on a kids menu. Do not recommend, save yourself the hassle and just go to the Culver location.

I use to go here all the time and loved it. They have always been generous with sides and the tofu was delicious. The last time i went, I had the absolute worste food poisoning of my life. I dont know if it was from the egg they gave me not fully getting cooked or if it was bacteria in the soup. whatever it was it made me never come back here again. Just not worth the risk.

Kaju Soft Tufu offers an authentic and satisfying Korean soft tofu stew (sundubu-jjigae) experience with rich, flavorful broth, silky tofu, and fresh ingredients like seafood, beef, or vegetables. The well-balanced spice level and generous portion sizes make it a comforting and hearty meal. The complimentary side dishes, including perfectly fermented kimchi and crisp pickled radish, enhance the dining experience. With a cozy atmosphere and attentive service, this restaurant is a great spot for anyone craving a warm and delicious bowl of sundubu-jjigae. Highly recommended!

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at here, and it was one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambiance and attentive service.
The menu offered a great variety of dishes, but I decided to try Soft tofu soup and Korean bone in Galbi and pan-fried fish, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price.
Overall, Kaju Soft exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great service, I highly recommend checking it out. I will definitely be returning soon!

Stopped by for dinner last night like what we’ve done many times before and the place was so noisy. Bad music was loud and everyone tried to overcome that by talking louder. The atmosphere just ruined it for me.
Tofu soup is tasty and yum. Better than my favorite korean restaurant.
Ribs is good too.
Fish cake side dish is dry and bit hard. Kimchi is good, not sour ( i do not like sour kimchi 😅).
Keep in mind you can NOT take left over side dish. So finish it! 😅🤭.
You get 6% off if pay cash.
Service slow. Take a while to get what refill on hot tea, hot water on rice.
Half way my dinner, i order to go and still not ready by the time i am done with my dinner, even pay my bill. Still waiting more than 20 min.

A much quieter one than the one on Culver. Menu is slightly different but the seafood pancake is better. Other food is as good. The restaurnat decoration is older and not renovated. So, not as nice a the Culver one. But the service is more personal and nicer here.
Vegetarian options: Make sure you ask for clear/water based soup even when you order a vegetarian tofu soup dish.

Bulgogi tofu the meat is poor quality . A lot of fat and nerves. Short ribs flavor has changed and not for the better. Sardine tasted like they put lemon on it . Time to try other tofu houses . We been going there for years . No more! Sorry you lost a customer
