Fantastic bread and sandwiches!
Came into the shop, there is nobody else here, the worker is in the back, I’m waiting and waiting, not much interest. I see her lazily putting together a sandwich. After a few minutes, I wave. I get a stern “ will be right there, my friend.” I continue to wait. Now I’m tired of waiting and I leave the store without making any purchases not to return ever again. It’s a shame, because their pastries are actually pretty decent, but because of the rude service I will not return.

Visited the Irvine location on a Monday at 12:30 PM — peak lunch hour — and the experience was genuinely sad. The coolers were broken, there was nothing on display.
I came in hoping for a simple sandwich and a cup of coffee. Instead, I was told the sandwiches were frozen and would take a while to prepare — at lunchtime — and then informed there was no drip coffee available at all.
Every other restaurant in the area was packed with people. This place felt like it had already given up. There’s a certain sadness in watching a brand that presumably had ambition simply run out the clock with zero operational standards.

I really like this place, but the man who is almost always there makes me feel unwelcomed - idk if this is because im a POC or because i'm a fat woman (my instinct is it's the latter)...but the vibes are continuously off and I've seen him be very warm/normal w other patrons. Gives me pause to return and what a shame cus their food be hittin' esp the tuna sandwhich

We like sourdough bread. After discovering that La Boulangerie has freshly baked bread everyday, I would go occasionally. The sourdough bread is very fresh and moist (and not too sour) We tried other pastries and they tasted really good too. I would recommend their lemon meringue. We will continue to go back and try different options.

My sister and I stopped by a bit later in the afternoon. We caught the stillness and peaceful moments of the cafe. French jazz music was playing in the background and the service was so kind and friendly. We were handed the drinks personally instead of being called up to pick them up. There are outlets readily available if you’re looking to plug in devices for studies. We had a wonderful time. It’s such a treat to be able to eat brunch food all day hahaha. God bless you all+

Their French toast is amazing. This is a great breakfast or brunch place that has very fast service. They also have other food items to go along with breads and fresh juice! I 100% recommend this place if you are in the area.

My boyfriend and I came for valentine's breakfast as he mandatory works later, we decided on this place because its close and heard its nich enough, but not too pricey , upon coming to the store, the atmosphere felt quite rushed, and there was 2 guys manning the counter, both did not acknowledge our presence, asked if we had any questions, we stood there for a minute and let the couple that came in go ahead, they were served and the guy stayed at the register, we then came up to him after a minute to tell him what we wanted. Felt like food was over priced, but can't complain too much with smaller businesses, and strawberry basil lemonade was concentrated. After waiting a while for our food,( considering they reheat the pastries in the air fryer and serve) my ham and Swiss croissant was cold in the middle :*( . Honestly not worth it, plus the cheese Danish was just ok definitely won't go again 🙃

I ordered the L.B. Club —
Toasted pain de mie sandwich with turkey breast, bacon, avocado, Roma tomato, and butter lettuce, served with seasonal greens and just a tiny dab of dressing (promise!).
A light and healthy breakfast — because apparently, my days of “eating like a king” are over, according to my daughter 🤣 Lovely spot too! 👍

Ordered sandwiches for delivery. The sandwiches were extremely small, the bread was not fresh and there was very little meat. Also, the price was very high for what we got! Very disappointing.

The food is decent. However, the experience was disappointing. The young man at checkout was unfriendly, offering no smile, greeting, or thanks. Despite the cafe being empty, several tables were dirty, and staff made no effort to clean them.
Good food, but poor customer service. They need a lesson from Chick-fil-A on customer experience
