Perhaps now that this location is closed, the owner can auction off all of the equipment, product and supplies in order to pay ALL of his current and former employees all of the unpaid wages he still owes them? Over 15 former and current employees are owed missing paychecks, earned tips, bonuses and unpaid purchases. I'm sure there are quite a few interested parties that would like to receive payment? Perhaps Miirch Social can pay off all current and former employees with some Honey Butter Chicken? Our chefs were amazing, but really good curry does not pay bills! Only wages earned for work completed pays bills!

There are a handful of people that have worked here that are posting about how the business owners of this place do sketchy things in order to avoid paying their employees!!!! They don't pay their employees. Do not support this business!!!!!!!

My hubby and I were in Mirch Social on Saturday the food was superb the atmosphere incredible. I honestly could not help it because I had heard through the grapevine and social media outlets that the owner is not paying his employees....no way!! So after a few cocktails I got the nerve to ask the server what the story was and low and behold it all comes out. In the past few months this company has gone through 12 employees due to payroll problems! Supposedly the owner is retracting the deposited checks from his employees on the fifth day!! Employers have up to 5 days to retract a check or it stays in the account. I'm gob smacked after hearing this, supposedly the Irvine location has 3 employees left from 14 hence the closure. But the best is when employees try to physically cash the check at the bank its issued and there is no money in the account. Shame on you sir!! That is bad practice and you should seriously think about the lives you are ruining. Server was superb but you can tell there is an uneasiness in the air at this restaurant.

first of let me clarify that this is not one star food quality or service ( at least not in my experiences) so if you actually make it to the restaurant and they're open then I'm sure you'll have a good time. they actually put a nice spin on Indian food. that being said my wife made reservations on Wednesday for Saturday night (11/20/21) and she never does reservations but she really wanted her cousins to try this place out and it was a special occasion since it was one of the girl's 21st birthday. so she went the extra mile of making that reservation just make sure there would be no hiccups that day. so Saturday comes along, they're all dressed up and excited to eat there and wouldn't you know it when they arrive -- the place was closed for THAT ONE DAY ONLY because of something random like a staff meeting or some small renovation. something like that. it would have been depressing enough had my wife and her friends arrived to randomly discover that miirch was closed but to make reservations and then get all fancied up only to discover this happened -- well it really left a sour taste in everyone's mouth since they had to abruptly come up with a plan B for Indian food in Irvine of all places. btw -- did i mention they were still all dressed up and it was still the ring ladys 21st birthday... so that's where the one star comes into play. maybe it won't happen to anyone else but since it did happen it is worth mentioning in case it does happen again.

We visited this new restaurant about 2 months back. At that time there was zero signage. They invested alot of money in ambience and that is the only thing I liked. Cocktails were overpriced and not very good. Food was overpriced and not authentic Indian cuisine (I would know) service was afraid to serve. I don't get it. Why invest so much time, energy and money if you cannot get it right? Very disappointing experience!

The spicy chicken and the chicken wings were the winning dishes. The sea bass was a miss for me, and the samosas were average. The mango lassi was tasty and the service was very friendly and accommodating. I wish they served the kathi rolls during dinner! Guess it means we'll have to come back for lunch :)

They have Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options!! I love Indian food, but at most restaurants it's difficult to know which dishes are gluten free-- not here! Their menu is labeled clearly with a variety of options! I was pleasantly surprised by their Honey Butter Chicken and Cashew Truffle Chicken! Both were packed with flavor and presented beautifully. We will definitely be back again.

A must try! We were looking for some good Indian food and drove by Miirch. We shared the Samosa Chaat, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Biryani. Everything was amazing! For a drink we had the Mango Sour, it was alright something tasted a bit off but the food made up for it! The service was pretty slow but it is a new restaurant and I'm sure the servers are getting a hang of things. Will definitely be coming back
Thank you to the staff. They saw that my kid wasn't eating the naan and they offered french fries (not on the menu). You're not going to find better Indian food in the OC. The best part? The bill. Food this good should be 3X the price.

Fantastic food that is a bit pricey. Good ambience as well. However, the service was subpar. Hosts and hostesses were serving appetizers after the main course, and they did not offer a choice of spice level.

Really good upscale indian food. Lots of variety and innovative items to try even if you have indian food regularly. Its a little on the expensive side considering the quantity per dish is pretty small. Still a good place if you are craving some falvourful vegetarian food!
