Best instant hotpot/Malatang in Irvine, love the dry style and beef bone broth. You can adjust your seasoning by yourself. Recommend: when you order spicy dry dish, add more sesame sauce and crashed peanuts! Much fresher ingredients and better flavor than Zhangliang Malatang. Also, they don’t really ask high tips as a fast food restaurant, but still with pretty good service.
Food is ok, price is ridiculous too expensive. Easily 40+ for a malatang. There’s no service. You have to serve yourself including bringing dishes, cleaning the dirty table left by previous disgusting customers, taking away your dish after dining. The shop next door is playing super noisy music and has bad smoke to make you cough.

Went with friends, parking was horrible. This is in a "food court" where there's only another restaurant that was open on a Friday night. Walking in, I was a little surprised with the set up. There is no flow. It would have been nice if there was something that said to " Start Here!". You basically get a bowl and tongs from in front of the counter and just get whatever items you want to add to your bowl. They then weigh the bowl and you tell them what kind of broth you'd like....read full review
