YGF Malatang Reviews
Even the setup is easy. I liked being able to pick my own ingredients and broth without it turning into a whole thing, and the bowl still came out balanced and full. The bone broth had a distinct flavor that held up the whole way through, rich but not tiring, and the add ins felt fresh with plenty to choose from. Taste was good, which stood out right away. Service was friendly too, just helpful when needed and otherwise low key. A simple meal, done with care
I was really into the tomato soup here on a cool evening. It had that sweet and tangy balance without going flat after a few spoonfuls, and the whole bowl felt comforting in a simple way. Taste was good, which is really what mattered most. The place looked clean and cared for, and the service was friendly but low key. Easy meal, nicely done
Anyways, built my own bowl here and liked that part right away. Plenty to choose from, broth options clear, and the taste was good without getting messy or heavy. The place looked clean and kept up, service was friendly but low pressure, and no awkward tipping moment. Parking was easy too

YGF Malatang is a casual Sichuan spicy hotpot restaurant offering a unique dining experience. The establishment is part of a food court, where customers can choose from a variety of veggies, meats, and noodles from a buffet-style line and put them into a bowl. The broth or dry stir-fry option is selected at the cash register, and the bowl is returned to be cooked. The service is generally acceptable, with a language barrier sometimes present. The ambiance is typical of a food court environment, with a busy atmosphere and table turnover issues.
The restaurant offers a medium to spicy broth option, and the staff is helpful in cooking the meal. Customers have appreciated the unique touch of marinated meats, while others have found that the flavors of the soup overpower the marinade. The taste of the meal is not bad, and the staff is friendly, but service can be inconsistent. Overall, YGF Malatang is a good option for a soupy meal, especially during cold evenings. The restaurant has a big basement parking, and customers are responsible for table clearing.
