Checkers Grill is a small, quick-to-order restaurant located inside a huge commercial building with a cozy interior and business vibes. The spot has a cute shop run by an elderly couple, featuring a hot bar buffet section, a large selection of drinks, snacks, and chips. The staff is friendly, super friendly, and timely, with orders ready in about 10 minutes.
The food is simple but so good, with all delicious meals decently priced. The best breakfast burrito is the bacon avocado breakfast burrito served until 11 am for $6.50. Other recommendations include the well-crafted, delicious cheeseburger and the definitely filling chili cheese fries, which can be ordered with a chopped beef patty on top. The BLT and California special sandwiches are really tasty. The tables are always clean, and the architecture and view are quite amazing. Note: The spot does not have its own restrooms for customers. Parking is validated with coffee from the shop next door.
