Lots of food for a great price! I've been twice this week. Almost everything is $10-12 and I couldn't finish all my food. It also comes with miso soup. The sashimi is great quality.

Avoid this place. The staff was rude, they messed up my order, the food tasted bad.I recommend ordering food at the next food stall called Santouka. Their food was much better.

When I first came here and ate, I really enjoyed the curry pork cutlet. However, the pork cutlet I ate today had a good fried color on the front and the end, but the fried color on the back was light and the color of the cut part was strange, so my husband checked it. I went to eat it, but the staff replied that it was already cooked, so I didn't eat it. Another reason is that the lettuce under the pork cutlet was too wet, so the fried pork cutlet became too wet. Next time, if I eat it again, I think it would be better to just eat the curry pork cutlet.

I came here for lunch and some grocery shopping at Mitsuwa. I was craving curry so I got their pork cutlet curry with some green tea. The area where you order is like a food court and they have displays of the food that they serve which are super detailed and look delicious. Ordering was simple and the cashiers were friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food and it was made to order. My lunch was super satisfying and filling. The katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly. The curry was flavorful but not overpowering. A great meal to have right before grocery shopping in Mitsuwa.

Parking: Misasa is located in the food court of Mitsuwa which is located at the Irvine Heritage Plaza. It shares parking with a lot of other businesses and parking might be a bit difficult.Interior: The food court is rather small compared to the other Mitsuwa food courts that I have been to. It might be difficult to get a seat during meal times.Food: I got the Yakiniku Beef Bowl. Nothing really stood out in particular so it was alright. It came with a side of miso soup, edamame, and a pickled side dish. The portions were decent and relatively cheap.

Stopped by here for a quick dinner and it was good overall. The chicken katsu curry and udon noodles were both decent portions and the price came out to less than $18. The price was very fair for the portions. The udon noodles and beef flavor were good and so was the katsu. The katsu could have been more crispy though. I would prefer katsu from different spots but for the price, location and how fast we got our food it was worth it. We got our food in about 5 minutes. It's located inside the Mitsuwa market food court and there is plenty of seating. They also have tempura and some other rice bowls.

3.5/5 starsThis place is located in the Mitsuwa marketplace. Overall solid curry for the price. The pork cutlet had some moist pieces, but some parts were dry. The curry was flavorful. It wasn't spicy for me, and was on the sweeter side. Portion size was large. Not as good as Maji curry or coco ichibanya per my boyfriend, but still a solid meal. The food came out quickly after ordering, and the staff helped to clean up our trays when we were done.

Often come to this place for their Katsu Don and Udon combo. The Katsu Don is always fresh cooked with half boiled egg top that brings back lots of memories when in Japan. It's not a place for fine dining but definitely a place if you want to rewind the taste of traditional Japanese food.

Have so far tried two dishes from this place, and I think it's really good for the price. My ratings:Chicken Egg Bowl, 6/10 - Meh. The egg looks so good but then it's kind of plain with the semi dry chicken. Tasted a lot better with some tonkatsu sauce or curry.Pork Cutlet Curry, 8/10 - yummy yum. This is excellent for the price but the pork cutlet was a lot drier than I like (probably because the cut of pork wasn't too fatty). But the portion seems huge for just $10, and the curry was delicious. Not much to say about service but neutral to good experience with the cashier and the dishes came out quickly. My friend and I had gone into the supermarket to grab drinks for a few minutes and came back to the food all ready! I had the chicken egg bowl for takeout and ate the pork cutlet curry in the food court. The packaging for takeout is excellent with good attention to detail. Will be coming back whenever I'm just craving curry and don't want to make it myself.
