Wonderful dining experience. The fish was extremely fresh. The Premium Chirashi was a great meal. Definitely will be going back again. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Wow. First time and amazing experience. Crispy tuna rice was great portions, with four pieces! We got the O roll, the Laguna something roll, the blue fin toro sashimi and the salmon Lemmon roll! Seriously can't wait to try the omakase!

The restaurant is nice and clean. The food is ok for the price. The service is slow. We arrived @12:30 for lunch with reservation. Seated right away, servers are polite. It took too long for the food come to our table. We sat down @ 12:30 ordered our food, but our food did not arrive until an hour later.

Uni Nigiri was Japanese (they had Spanish option for less) and $37 for 2pcs but it was goood.

Wagyu fried rice was big portion but greasy and I don't think anyone would tell that it was wagyu meat inside. Not worth $48 at all.

Baked lobster roll was good but $$.

Poki nacho was alright l. We didn't finish it. They said their fish was never frozen but it was still fishy for me.

Rock shrimp tempura was good that we ordered another one and other appetizers were pretty good.

Good service and qualified foods. A bit expensive for the private use, but it shall be great for the business case.

They couldn't communicate properly and had me waiting on my food for 50 minutes to pick up . Manager didn't care to help until I complained ...

So what can I say about this restaurant, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is good, but the service is below zero, explained why we went to eat there with my wife? and I noticed that there was a delivery person there, he was waiting for the order. And while we were standing there. We were waiting for a table to be prepared for us, he was waiting and he asked twice when the order would be ready, they told him different times and the order was not ready. It turned out that the order was ready 5 minutes ago. The girl was so busy talking on the phone that she forgot about it. That's how you got a one.

The wagyu beef & rice had the texture of rubber. The beef was likely bits from steaks scrambled with fried rice and overcharged for the name wagyu. Avoid this place.

For this price range of the Chirashi bowl, I will expect better ingredients and a smaller portion, the portion is too big for my liking
The sashimi sampler is a total surprise, I was shocked to see every single piece of the fish is dressed with sauces, not a good surprise though

After Kitayama closed in Newport Beach, I have been looking for the next best Japanese experience. O Fine Japanese Cuisine consistently delivers creative, delicious, and fresh options. Their sushi is next level and I highly recommend. For best experience, I recommend a reservation.

The fish was very good quality. The cuts are very thin, so it’s not a great value. Service was very good and the ambience was very quiet.

Parking: Located in a plaza.
