This is probably one of the best shabu shabu places around! Dinner was around $29 per person but unlike hai di lao or maybe happy sheep, the hot pots arnt in a single location, but rather your own pot in front! This makes it easier for those wanting something spicy broth to something light broth like my shoyu broth. They have 2 different meat menus, one with wagyu and one thats the standard meats. Either way, the standard menu still had really tender meats like the ribeye cuts and tenderloin! Some more filling options too included the beef belly and pork belly. Also at the buffet side, there are some nice sides such as takoyaki, gyoza, seaweed salad and oranges and fried rice. There are also vegetables and seafood to get as well! Service was friendly and easy to order extra meats and cleaning up the plates was done easily too by either robot waiter or custodians! Orders were delivered by robot waiters or handed to us by a waiter! They make good use by not programming a robot waiter to go to multiple tables at a time! The only disappointment was they did run out of some stuff such as smoothies and soju which almost consisted of the cocktail menu on the back... At least pepsi is $2 with unlimited refills? Overall it's nice to come back here if i was feeling spendy or treating out for an occasion here again! They seem to always have tables so capacity i hope isn't an issue!

Great place for all you can eat Shabu Shabu. The meat quality was high especially for the beef. But the lamb comes with too much fat. The salad has many varieties including sea food, veggies, and some good appetizers. Service is fast with the robot delivering food.

The service was great and very accommodating. The room is good and spacious and the restaurant clean as well as the bathrooms. The food variety is good too. My low rating is sadly and really for the food : broth was way too salty as well as the regular soy sauce, feels like it's intentionally done so that patrons just have to order drinks. Also the meats (we have tried almost all of them) were way too lean making it definitely not that good. Ah also the robots seem fun at the beginning but they are slow and quite dumb, so no. Last but not least the music was way too loud, I think I don't want to eat in a disco, and the noise coming from the plates moved here and there in the kitchen is ridiculously loud. Overall a 3 out of 5 and no more. A restaurant is all about details and quite a few were a miss here...

I visited this hot pot restaurant in Irvine with a couple of friends over the weekend for lunch. Located in DuPont Plaza, there’s plenty of parking available, including a free basement lot.

This restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat hot pot experience. The weekday lunch is $26, while dinner is $34. On weekends, the price is $34 all day. They have a good variety of soup bases, and we particularly enjoyed the spicy tonkotsu broth.

The selection of proteins was impressive, especially the prime cuts of meat, which stood out as the highlight for us. However, we found the lamb and ribeye cuts to have a bit too much fat, which wasn’t to our preference. The meats are delivered to your table by a robot server, and the service was fast and friendly. They also offer an unlimited buffet and sauce station, featuring a variety of hot foods, salads, and seafood. One downside was the strong seafood smell upon entering the restaurant, which was somewhat off-putting.

Overall, if you’re looking for a hot pot experience with a wide selection of options, this place is worth considering.

Outstanding experience. Great service & the vast selection & quality are top notch. Very clean & modern interior. The robot servers were fun to watch. The veggie selection was huge & all the meats were very fresh! Reasonable price for AYCE. Will be back for sure!

Seating was pretty fast but the service was slow. Great salad bar. I honestly wish they had better broth options like spicy beef! The meat wasn’t fresh it was browning that’s why I gave it 3 stars and hopefully I don’t get food poisoning

Self-service Japanese shabu,
The price has started to increase little by little due to rising prices, but most of their meat slices are tender and delicious.
There are also many options for the self-service side dishes, including fish fillets and hot pot ingredients, and many fresh vegetables.
Fried chicken and takoyaki are the kids' favorite parts.

Parking: There is a basement parking lot, which is really needed in the summer!
Moreover, the underground parking lot of this Plaza is very clean and not scary.

He wasn't expecting to like this place but, I was pleasantly pleased. The food, personnel and overall feel, was very nice.Note, I'm cheap, (or simply living in the recent past, when you could get a decent bite for under Twenty Dollers per person but those days are gone of course). That said, for the price (at lunch, we paid about Thirty per person) the food was fresh and very nice quality. The hot pot choices have lovely flavor and add nicely to the meat and veggies choices one can add. Service was excellent, particularly the server who brings the meat trays. Not sure what his name is, but he seemed to run on batteries, never tiring from the job! Yes a serving robot! All I can add is, I will be back as this is a gem in a sea of average such places.

Vegetarian options: There is enough to keep a vegetarian happy as long as they don't mind cooking in the broths available. Not sure if any are vegetarian. Miso, tonkutsu, etc.. that said, I don't think it matters to vegetarians any more than other such places..

The food is fresh and worthy of recognition. The bottom of the pot tastes average. The service was really not good. I went there twice in a row, and there were 6.7 people each time. The first time I even knew how to add soup base, but the second time no one paid any attention to me. I felt like the female waitresses were all reluctant. No sense of service at all. Of course, because there are so many people, we have to pay more for the service fee, but to be honest, we don't want to pay it at all. It is a self-service, there is no service, and there is no smile at all. . .

Parking: You can park in the underground garage, which is more convenient
