I am sad that Indian cuisine has lost some importance in the American food scene! It is such a great international cuisine, and should be given more attention as a great dining choice. I suggest you true foodies give this Indian cuisine a try... and don't forget to add mango chutney with every bite!

This is my favorite restaurant for Indian food with dishes from all over India. I loved the Chicken Chettinad and the sag paneer . Excellent service and good value for money. The quality and quantity was ideal and heat level was perfect too! This is my go to place to take friends when they fly into Orange County.

The Spicy Kebab was a new dish we had never tried before and it was delicious. The main course items were also very tasty. The Jodhpuri laccha parantha was incredible. Service was good and professional. Will continue to return.

We ate here for New Year's Eve. The food is good, prices not outlandish, and surroundings pleasant. My only complaint, an odd one perhaps, is that the waitstaff is overly attentive-it isn't urgent to remove plates especially when some at the table are still eating-and the meal felt rushed, people like to linger on special occasions, don't bring the entrée the second the appetizers are finished.
It is our family tradition to have Indian Food on Christmas Eve and it had been several years since spending it at Royal Khyber. So we were excited to go back this year. Our dinner was amazing, the service perfect and atmosphere warm and festive. We will definitely go back again.

We eat here at least twice a year. Great Indian food, and the servers are very nice and attentive. They decorate beautifully for the Christmas season, and the food is delicious. It's fairly expensive, so be prepared for that.

Hosts were so gracious! Used to come here quite a bit pre Covid and food was always so flavorful and good. Very happy to return for a delicious meal! My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank. Samosas delicious and chicken tikka masala so good. As was the tandoori chicken. A lovely evening and we will be back!

The staff at Royal Khyber are friendly and cordial. The ambiance of the dining area is very good, the atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. The facility review would have been 5 stars but the chair arm at our table was loose/broken and needed attention. The food quality was good and wait staff were attentive without being overly intrusive. Overall a great choice for an Indian indulgence.

We always enjoy dining at the Royal Khyber. From the greeting at the front door to the gracious farewell, the service is attentive but not intrusive and cordial in just the right way. The food is always excellent and served hot with thoughtfulness. We've been going here for over thirty years and it has never disappointed us.

For our 35th wedding anniversary we dined at Royal Khyber for the first time. Given its my wife's favorite food I don't know why it was our first time apart from being a 22 mile drive, and worth every one of them. A sign of any ethnic restaurant being good is whether the same ethnicity people eat there which was substantially present at Royal Khyber. Waitstaff were delightfully friendly, interesting, genuine and above all efficient. I won't set you on our menu choices, only to say they were delicious and only the beginning of so many wonderful additional choices for next time, which won't be long. Enjoy!
My one major disappointment, is having to pay for rice. I have never seen that before. The drinks are so watered down with ice , you should be embarrassed to serve them. It's very apparent, your restaurant is cutting corners and it shows. Additionally, it don't really care much for your dark, dated decor. Maybe if you get some more light into your restaurant, replace your furniture with some contemporary ones, you would have more patrons. As of now, your restaurant isn't inviting at all.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. We introduced my mom to Indian food and she loved it. The restaurant was almost empty and it made us a little nervous about how they were doing. Hope it was just slow because it was a Wednesday night.

We always enjoy the brunch here --great flavors and refined Indian cuisine. Lovely hospitality as well. It's a hidden gem--best Indian food in OC by far! Love the authentic tandoor oven--imparts such flavor.
