This bakery has some unique and delicious items. Our favorites are the cheesecake and the honeycake. The cheesecake is unlike any we have had before - it’s so light and fluffy, not heavy and overpoweringly sweet so it’s just right to have with a cup of tea. And the honeycake is similar to, good honey flavor but light and fluffy, not heavy and sickly sweet, it’s just right and tastes delicious!

Sunmerry Bakery in Irvine is one of my favorite Taiwanese bakeries. We visit it often. They offer a variety of breads. It's our go-to spot for breakfast or dessert treats during outings and family trips.

We tried this bakery after looking for some snacks after one of our several morning walks in nearby Jeffrey Open Space Trail. Glad we discovered this bakery. Our favorite bread here is the one filled with tuna.Today, we tried their sea salt cream coffee. It has become our #1 favorite. 85c sea salt coffee became #2.We also had the opportunity to linger for about 30mins today - a Saturday morning. We have seen locals come and go… as in the door seems to be frequently opening. That is a sign the bakery is a good one!
