Good for Irvine but unless you live nearby, there are better places (esp in Garden Grove or Buena Park). Portions were good and service was friendly.

Forever Love

The portion is to small for the price of the food
I ordered to go sundea soup

The soup bowl was so much smaller !!!!!!

Sucks !!!
Ps =I was go there regularly but NO MORE ! ❌️ 🙅‍♂️ ❌️

Be careful when getting food here—the Korean ladies often have an attitude and inpatient toward customers. I like Korean food, so I just order takeout because I don’t enjoy eating at a restaurant where the service is rushed and rude

If you're seeking some good 순대국 or 설렁탕in Irvine, look no further. Prefer this place over the other Tang shop near I-5.

Legit K-soup place

Over the weekend, I visited this restaurant, and it was packed with Koreans, which made me think this place must be authentic! According to my Korean friends, eating tteokguk (rice cake soup) is like how we eat longevity noodles — having a bowl adds another year to your life!

✨ Braised Beef Ribs
The braised beef ribs here are different from what I’ve had at other Korean restaurants. Instead of the cheesy style, it’s more like the Gangnam-style soy-braised ribs. The flavor leans sweet, and the ribs are so tender that they fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The seasoning is absolutely spot-on, and personally, I find it much tastier than the spicy cheesy ribs. The portion is huge — three people could easily have two meals out of it! Plus, this version is totally non-spicy, so even kids can enjoy it to the fullest.

✨ Pork Backbone Potato Soup
This has always been one of my favorite Korean dishes, especially in winter. Sipping the warm broth is so comforting! The soup comes in a hot stone pot, steaming and full of flavor, with around four big chunks of pork backbone. The potatoes are stewed until perfectly soft. Pairing the soup with rice is pure happiness!

✨ Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot
This one was ordered especially for the kids. The broth is on the sweeter side, making it perfect to go with rice. In winter, there’s nothing better than enjoying warm, hearty soups at a Korean restaurant!

There are so many other dishes on the menu that look amazing too. I’ll definitely come back to try more next time!

I enjoyed the bossam at Chilpo so much that I ordered it at my son's house and it smelled like pork. I'm disappointed. Even though they said it didn't smell, I couldn't eat even one piece. Are there any places in Irvine that make delicious bossam?

Tang n Tang at Northpark Plaza is super convenient with easy parking! It's a great spot for some delicious Korean food, plus you can grab a drink afterward at Boba Time or Starbucks in the mall. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming.

I tried the bossam combo, spicy beef flank soup, naengmyeon, pork cutlet, and pork bulgogi! The bossam combo is perfect for 2-3 people, and everything was fresh, especially the pork cutlet--it was so tender. The naengmyeon with teddy bear ice (broth) is so cute and definitely Insta-worthy! Also, try the SANG makgeoli--I loved it with bossam or spicy food.

Excellent service too! A great spot for a quick and casual meal!

Visited again with friends over the weekend and this is by far my fav Korean restaurant in SoCal! Always my go to when I visit Irvine. The best in food quality, taste and services. Would definitely recommend trying their crispy Donkatsu and the ‘UGEOJI Galbi tang’. Will not disappoint.

Food is good but the waiters are overworked.

Vegetarian options: There aren't many vegetarian options.

Dietary restrictions: They can't change ingredients in their food.

Parking: There are many places to park but it can get busy sometimes.

Kid-friendliness: Very nice to kids and helpful when it comes down to the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is easy to travel for people with a wheelchair to get around in there.
