This is a good Chinese foods authentic.
It’s really bad flavor
Staff was not very friendly. I asked him to check/change one order after 3 mins I placed the order. He told me it’s too late, without willingly to go to the kitchen and ask. Food was ok, not very authentic.
This one of my family's favorite restaurants.
Tasty and had a good price. I particularly enjoyed the dan dan noodles and the fish with garlic sauce
Rice and chicken not very good. Then they became very upset that I didn't want to give a good tip. First time in my whole life I've been given a lot of static for not giving a tip that someone isn't happy with. Never going back.
Not Cantonese cuisine - probably Taiwanese. Not an expert here to say, just being adventurous that day, and was not disappointed. My goodness! The fish head dish, which was the special of the day, was something to behold by the braves only. The soup was sensational. The buns were unremarkable.
I love the tasty foods.
Best SHANXI noodle in Irvine
There are many Chinese restaurants surrounding the Ranch 99 market at this location. Picking one was a difficult choice. My wife and I walked to them all and looked at the menus and the food that was being served to the customers. Most are sort of fast food / takeout things, this one was a sit down with a great atmosphere. We ordered the House Special Braised Noodle and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The noodles had the perfect homemade texture that my wife and I came to expect whenever we travel to China. Looking at what ever others were eating around us you could see that the noodles were supreme. This restaurant is one of the most authentic I have experienced outside of China. Highly recommended.

Very good food, service and interior design. Space is open too.
The best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
Their lamb fried noodles here are very good. The lamb is soft and tender. Their noodles are fresh and made in house which is great. I ordered the lamb fried noodles non spicy and asked for extra meat which I paid extra for and for them to add spinach to my dish. Was amazing. See images attached and uploaded. Will be back. Found my new fried noodles place. Would be great if they could get Wagyu beef here or some other prime beef for their fried noodles also.
Honestly not sure why it's still here.
During these Pandemic times, I placed an order online to pick up. The estimated wait was 15-20 minutes from the time I placed the order. I was very upset at having to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes. There were several people waiting there the entire time, and a worker would only come out at infrequent intervals with orders. Because of social distancing I dutifully wated outside waiting for confirmation via text as advertised. This quickly deteriorated because so many people jostled ahead of me and stood close together trying to get the man's attention. Everyone was speaking Chinese. I showed the man my phone with the confirmation number and he kept assuring me, "just a couple more minutes." It really took far too long, they were disorganized, and the food was good but nothing special.
