The food is above average for a hospital cafeteria. The best value is the soup station, $2.70 for one serving. Optional rotate daily but I've seen chicken noodle, lobster bisque, clam chowder, red pepper Gouda, French onion, Italian wedding, broccoli cheese, vegetarian chili. There's also a small salad bar, hot food bar, grill, pizza, yogurt bar, baked goods, and some chilled grab-n-go items. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays (carnitas or quinoa, plus 2 sides of black beans/roasted...
The food is good, Not gourmet, but plenty good. There were a variety of options for breakfast including different types of eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, different types of fruit and hot beverages. They charge you by weight for most items and individually for certain items like bacon and toast. I had plenty to eat and it was about $6. The convenience and price were worth it to me.
The food is just what you expect to find in a hospital cafe not great but not that bad either. The part that I can't believe is they stop serving dinner at 6:30pm just not sure why the only food service in the hospital stops serving dinner so early. There is a vending machine with sandwiches in an area that is accessible 24 hours a day but there's no condiments or even napkins available.
