The pizza is pretty good, but they are super disorganized. The last few times we’ve been there they forgot something from our order and it’s a hassle to get them to fix it. It’s a decent place to go if they aren’t busy. The pizza is made fresh, but I don’t think we will plan to come back.

Founded in 2012 and with locations nationwide, The Pizza Press wants you to "be newsworthy" by creating your own custom pizza/wings or selecting a signature pizza/salad and pairing with one of the many craft beers on tap. The restaurant theme is inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper which explains why their signature pizzas have names like "The Times" and "The Tribune".
We visited the Woodbridge location off Barranca Parkway for dinner after catching a movie at the AMC next door. The restaurant was busy and looked to be popular among local teenagers and families. There's also a playground conveniently located outside. We ordered the Publish Your Own (PYO) Pizza and topped it with fresh and premium ingredients like spicy red sauce, minced garlic, mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, bacon, meatballs, mushrooms and jalapeños. Service was friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of the 'build your own pizza' concept and you've never been before, then it's time to check out The Pizza Press!

We had 2 pizzas and paid 20% tip but when wanted to use their bathroom, they refuses to give us a code
After 3 times asking and showing them the receipt of what we just purchased and ate there, they still didn’t provide the code. The code on the bottom of receipt was not working

I've reviewed this place before and I'm back to review it again. I love pizza press. Of all the build your own pizza places I still find pizza press as the #1. Here's why:
The dough and it's thin, crispy, cracker crust is closer to Italian pizza or a place like cpk. It isn't overly doughy. It adds texture without too much flavor to take away from the sauce and toppings and it overall complements the pizza. The mozzarella here is always super fresh and gives you those cheese pulls you expect from a quality mozzarella stick.
They are generous with the toppings and they have all the options and even sauces you could want. They are cooked to perfection with the right temperature and great consistency in quality. Somehow with how thin this pizza was I ended up very full halfway through the pizza. The price is just right and I will be back for a lunch special soon!

Placed the order on line in app chownow, when. I go there, they told me that they were never received my order.
Yummy! My family loves it here. The pesto and basil topping in the end is the best.

I ordered a veggie pizza, but the employees started preparing the veggie pizza with the gloves they had used to touch the meat. They changed their gloves after I warned them. They need to be careful!

I will never spend a penny in this store because when I entered, a young male employee who was happily chatting with his colleague immediately turned to me with a very cold and impatient expression. He responded with "yeah?" and his nasty attitude when I said hello. He doesn't even have the basic qualities expected of someone working at the front desk. Seriously, quit if you hate greeting customers and your job.

Restaurant has no hand washing area, empty hand sanitizer bottles and restrooms are closed to customers. It’s not acceptable.

Don’t bother placing an online order. They don’t honor the estimated pickup time, nor do they start your order when it’s placed. I’ve place multiple online orders over the past few weeks and every single one took almost an hour to fulfill. Just order in person and you’ll get it in half the time. The kids that work here give zero shats about making you wait an hour for your food. I’m done dealing with these amateurs.

Employees seem high here but they still came through. It’s tucked away in a plaza but there’s plenty of parking and the food is as fresh as it can get. Just imagine a subway your way, but with pizza. They are generous with toppings and definitely worth the wait if the food comes out fresh - plus for kid friendly spot, inside and outdoors.
