I've been here twice now for the AYCE and they have not let me down at all! Incredibly fresh and flavorful. Service has been great. Value is great. Get there before they open to add your name on the waitlist, this place is popular and fills up quick! Great place to hang out outside while you wait for them to open or for your table to be ready. Been here with a friend and my sister and they both agree this place rocks

Realistically closes at 8PM because that’s when they close their waitlist. Super long wait time for both food and entering (takes waiters to recognize we are ready to order food once seated). Good food but that’s it.

Love that this place has ample seating and great parking. It's a great place to host an event. I've never tried the happy hour but heard great things. Ordered the salmon roll and the crunch roll, but next time would love to try their specialty rolls. I'd recommend coming here early to enjoy all that it offers!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. They are the best. Sushi and Sashimi always fresh and delicious. Place is lovely and clean. Fast and nice services. Parking always available.

came here for their AYCE menu! it was $36.95 ($29.95 for weekday lunch). there is a big parking lot outside, so plenty of spaces available. i came on a sunday around 4:30 and waited about an hour to be seated. the wait became more than an hour around 5:30 so be prepared for a wait around dinner time! the fish was fresh and clean tasting, not smelly at all. my favorite is the carpaccio. the nigiris are the perfect size, and i love that they don't put to much rice in it. they have a variety of yummy rolls to choose from as well. the service was wonderful, quick, and super attentive. overall, totally worth it if you love AYCE sushi, and a reliable go-to for sushi if you're in the area.

Got the ayce menu, the salmon was great quality and I could really enjoy it no matter how full I was. Would definitely recommend ayce!

Parking is easy, friendly staff, very nice space that's clean and open. Loved everything I had, fish quality is good, and I personally love the handrolls. It'd be shorter to list what we didn't like since most things were good so: Seared garlic tuna carpaccio, muscles/oyster, takoyaki, and personally didn't really like the rolls. I feel like the arrangements are strange like the Kevin roll has asparagus... As a general rule of thumb, I recommend focusing on Nigiri and Sashimi (carpaccio in this case) in the early rounds and appetizers/sides and specialty rolls in the later ones. You should realistically be done at round 2 and round 3 is just for filling in the gaps. Also fair warning: Irvine locals like the whine about this place not realizing it's amazing AYCE. Probably the best AYCE in OC I've had so far

Her service was so great that I took the time to write my first yelp review; loved to tip just her. Overall very good place to eat! Would come back for sure :)

Food wise, I recommend the salmon carpaccio, cucumber salad and baked mussels. There are variety of appetizers, nigiri, carpaccio, rolls to choose from. Usually after you order on the sheet, food comes out 10-15 minutes, and you can order 3 rounds of food ( whatever quantity you want ). Price is around $38 per person on weekends which is reasonable. Inside the restaurant is always clean, the restroom is clean as well. Would recommend this place!

I absolutely and personally think that this place serves the best quality fish for an AYCE place. Service is prompt. There's usually a long wait but we thankfully arrived at a good time so the wait time was under an hour. (Yes, the waiting time is crazy but worth it.) Definitely my number 1 spot.

We got the lunch ayce for $30pp. The food was good and the fish taste fresh and very tender. The yellowtail just melts in your mouth. So good. Service was good at first but felt rushed towards the end of our dining. Everyone was friendly though. The only thing is we order a drink for happy hour at 3-6pm, and we didn't get it. I understand they are getting busy at the time but I think our waitress just forgot. The inside was nice, table were pretty small for 2. I would recommend a bigger table or a booth if you are planing on ordering multiple dishes and appetizers each set. I just wish they have a broader menu for the rolls for ayce. I'm not a fan of tuna and majority of the rolls contain tuna and eel/mackerel.. which had a lot of bones in them. Overall everything tastes good :) For both my man and I, came out to about $67

The wait was too long, had to go back to work. Got Togo bento with cali and spicy tuna rolls. Everything in there was really good. Bento comes with edamame, gyoza, chicken karage, salad, miso soup and side rice. The manager helped me with my order since I was in a rush and waited 45 mins for a table but could not dine in. No complain with the food so far, definitely want to go back and dine in! Gotta try the sushi part; next time I'll be back and hopefully not too long of a wait.
