Wholesome Choice offers a wonderful food court and bakery with delicious pastries like Persian Araq saggi. The food court is entirely halal, featuring Indian, Persian, and Chinese cuisines, all of which are excellent. Customers can also find fresh groceries at certain times, although the space is small and lines can be long, especially on weekends when it gets very crowded. Despite some issues with freshness, the variety of options, including the amazing sangak, a Persian flatbread that is fresh, fragrant, crisp, and chewy, make it a satisfying visit. The staff is super friendly, making the 90-minute drive worthwhile. While the prices are moderate—more than Woodland Hills but less than Boston—the wide range of halal options and the delicious food make it a popular destination, especially during non-rush hours.
