This new Chinese restaurant in Irvine is such a great spot for group gatherings, and they even have $9.90 special dishes!
The restaurant has a comfortable and spacious Chinese-style interior, with large tables that are perfect for groups. We sat together, enjoyed our meal, and planned our upcoming Mexico trip at the same time!

Fantastic new find in Irvine! Their grand opening specials are incredible, with several dishes priced at just $9.90. We loved the Mapo tofu, seafood fried rice, duck spring pancakes, and soup dumplings. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the restaurant was spotless. It's amazing value--five of us were completely full for around $20 each. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Yue Yan is a new Chinese restaurant in Irvine that offers a great spot for group gatherings. The interior is comfortable and spacious Chinese‑style with large tables, modern clean design and a cozy vibe. Large windows give good light for photos and private rooms seat 10+ for family dinners or group hangouts. The menu includes five selected $9.90 dishes available Monday through Sunday, and four dine‑in set menus Monday through Friday such as Set Menu #4 for $128.95. Set Menu #4 features Green Peppercorn Fish, half roast duck, sweet & sour ribs, stir‑fried vegetables, duck soup, brown sugar rice cakes and four bowls of rice. The fish is tender and fragrant, the duck is nicely sliced and tender, the ribs are flavorful and perfect with rice, and the brown sugar rice cakes are soft and chewy. Popular $9.90 specials include Mapo tofu, seafood fried rice, duck spring pancakes, soup dumplings, crab roe tofu, white cut chicken with ginger‑scallion dip and stir‑fried choy sum with wok hei. All dishes are fresh, flavorful and served in generous portions. The staff are friendly, attentive and quick to help, checking on guests regularly and pouring water as soon as they sit. Guests rate taste, atmosphere, value and service five stars and highly recommend Yue Yan for fresh food, clean environment and amazing value, with many diners paying around $20 each for a full meal. The restaurant is spotless and the grand opening deals are an amazing value.
