When the chef stops cooking at night, I suggest you not open the door. When it's dinner time, I suggest you not to order from this restaurant. After all the dishes have been ordered, they will notify you in batches that the dishes are out. Every half an hour, they tell you that one dish is out, and every half hour they call you again to tell you that another dish is out. It took nearly 2 hours for a takeaway to arrive at my doorstep, and I only had a 6-minute drive from this store. Really ridiculous. If there is no food, it is recommended to close the store and not open it.

Authentic traditional Taiwanese food! The food taste like the food in dining hall of high school/college, serving by hospitable aunt.

Excellent variety of traditional food. Affordable prices, always fresh food. Super friendly staff. Could not recommend highly enough. Best option is 3 plate items to go!

The most speechless restaurant experience! The child likes to eat one dish and wants to choose that dish for both dishes in the three-course set meal, but he is sternly rejected! Say no! You can’t choose the same dish! Otherwise, how could she sell it if there was some leftover! ? ? What did I hear? ! ! ! Is this just because the business is good, or is he already so confident that he is like this? ! 😓

My wife and I bought 3 orders of meals at/about 11:15 am Friday 2/21/25. The quantities of the three-items of each order were so few comparing with those we bought a few months or years ago. We decided not to visit this place from now on.

Always a loyal fan of Yu’s Garden. We haven’t been here over couples of months. Today went for lunch and surprising the portion was like shrunk 50% in size 😱! We used to have some leftover after dining in as the portion was huge in the old days. Inflation is a Bxxxh! Food still tasty, will keep going for it.

Authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food. You spend $13 here and enjoy food that will cost you more than $30 anywhere else in this area.

This is only for Takeout Lunch Review!
Yu's Garden is one of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants for takeout during lunchtime. Their combo boxes, priced around $13, offer three delicious items that my family loves.
Our top picks are the beef tripe (牛肚), beef shank (牛腱), and pig ears (豬耳朵). Sometimes, the three-cup chicken (三杯雞) is not as tender as I'd like, but it's worth a try. Other great options include scallion oil chicken (蔥花雞), eggplant (茄子), and braised bamboo shoots (油燜筍). Paying with a credit card adds just 80 cents to the total.
The only downside is the poorly planned ordering line, where customers move back and forth before paying at the front, causing some congestion. The payment counter can be moved to the back, like Panda Express ordering line, because the staff can easily get items from the kitchen.
Despite this, the food quality and value make it a great choice for lunch.

Sometimes I don't feel like restaurant style (heavier tasting) Chinese cooking, don't feel like cooking, and would drop by yu's. Food are fairly healthy (home cooked style), lots of selections, and generous portions. Not to mention, priced very reasonably when compared to other places. Good for dining in or take out. Remeber to drop by during or before peak lunch / dinner hours; often times the really good / popular stuff can be sold out by later hours. Too many to mention, but off top of head, their eggplant, tomato egg, squid, meatball, vegetarian cold cuts, and etc., are all very good.

The clerk is very kind and welcomes every customer with a smile on his face. There is unlimited supply of porridge and tea, and the food is very cost-effective. Worth coming again.

Their hygiene standard is really poor. I smelled strange odor in the food and in the restaurant. And got food poisoned recently. It’s not worth to get sick no matter how cheap it is.

Very decent price for its location. Many different selections of food. However, one time I came later in the afternoon and some of the items were out. Since I discovered this place a few weeks ago, I've been back a few more times. I always got the 3 items combo togo since it's $11.50 plus tax. The price valid for whole day if takeout and lunch if dine in. The combo comes with either rice or porridge. They charge $.80 for card so bring cash if you have one. Some of the staff don't speak English but wasn't much of a trouble when ordering.
Parking: Parking can get busy during rushed hours.
