The food is always outstanding and consistent! My favorites are the angel hair pasta, the salmon salad and the hummus. The feta on the pasta and salad really adds a nice flavor. I love the music on Friday and Saturday nights too! Such a classy touch to a neighborhood restaurant. The staff is always friendly and professional. Trish is a true gem!

I've been going to Zov's on Portola for as long as I can remember. The last many years, it has consistently gotten worse. The service -Ashley and truly all- is always top notch, but the food has gotten consistently worse. I'm certain Zov is no longer tasting the food. The lamb chops were shameful! Did you cut them in half lengthwise? Was cardboard your intention? If so, you succeeded. I'd like to be clear that I don't think this is the chefs fault. They are no longer given the quality of food they once were. This is 100% that management thinks they are focusing on bottom line. Well, I was there on Saturday night and although the patio was full, inside the restaurant was basically empty. I can't imagine that's good for your bottom line. I do understand that the fair is happening and it's summer- hard restaurant weeks. But still, focus on better quality food and we'll consider coming back. Until then, you're a more expensive, less consistent chain restaurant. I'm truly bummed. This was one of our go-tos for years.

Small dinner salad was excellent. Caper vinaigrette was outstanding. Short rib parpadelle was poor. Beef was fatty and tasteless. Chop chop salad was ok — but not as good as the small dinner salad.

Very nice restaurant in a very nice shopping center. Bru nch menu is limited but creative. Prices are moderate. If you're near Portola Spings it's worth a shot.

We visit this Zov’s often and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and the food is great. We typically get the family combo when we have guests over and everyone enjoys it.

They don't serve bread with their main dish, and when I asked for it, they wanted to charge a lot for it. Also, we had many fly attacking us.

I am not sure what to think. My husband and I decided to come here to eat for Father's day and also my son just finished his Junior Olympics Water Polo tournaments nearby. We requested for a table outside. The host said there's a 15 to 20 minutes wait. There's 2 tables emty but he said those have been reserved. So we waited, after 20 minutes he called us and sat us in at a table inside saying he have no table outside while those 2 tables were still empty. I was left speechless and not sure what to say or think....I have never been treated as such. We could have stand up and left but we didn't want to make a scene. I just didn't like to be tricked, played and lied to like that...We are not sure why they did that. We stayed because my son was hungry. We love mediterranean food and this is the 1st mediterranean restaurant that treated us this way. I am sad and disappointed because we will never come here again. 😔 I lost my appetite
Waitress Whitney was good. Good above average. Ambiance was ok, could be improved. Singer was below average. Cost per meal with a glass of wine was HIGH. Overall, satisfied with everything but not outstanding.

The food is delicious. So are the drinks. It's a little pricey though. They change their menus once in a while so there is always something new to try. I loved their lamb chops that was an appetizer dish but big enough to have as a main course or share with others. Their new cucumber drink was delicious too.
