Very disappointing experience - unfortunately, I had a guest, so I did not want to make a fuss however, the worse was the food, especially since I have had very good past experience with Zov's Tustin. The food was a total disgrace my food was completely burned - I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will definitely never return. It was not at all crowded so apparently the message is out there already, I wish I would have known this since it was an expensive lesson.

The manager was extremely accommodating and the service was great. But the menu was not like the other Zovs and not what I expected. Very little Mediterranean choices. They didn't offer the Mediterranean chicken, but instead grilled chicken. It was very loud because 1/4 of the restaurant is a bar and there was a musician. I'm sure that's a plus for some but if you just would like to meet with a friend/friends and catch up, this is not the place the choose. The entire front of the restaurant opens to outside - again a plus but there were flies in the restaurant. We ordered 2 of the only Mediterranean choices on the menu u and they were delicious. Just not the Zovs I was expecting.

Excellence all around. Service, ambiance, and food was excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Tustin area. Or even visiting Disneyland and you want to get away from the normal commercialized restaurant chains near Disney.

The food is always outstanding and consistent! My favorites are the angel hair pasta, the salmon salad and the hummus. The feta on the pasta and salad really adds a nice flavor. I love the music on Friday and Saturday nights too! Such a classy touch to a neighborhood restaurant. The staff is always friendly and professional. Trish is a true gem!

I've been going to Zov's on Portola for as long as I can remember. The last many years, it has consistently gotten worse. The service -Ashley and truly all- is always top notch, but the food has gotten consistently worse. I'm certain Zov is no longer tasting the food. The lamb chops were shameful! Did you cut them in half lengthwise? Was cardboard your intention? If so, you succeeded. I'd like to be clear that I don't think this is the chefs fault. They are no longer given the quality of food they once were. This is 100% that management thinks they are focusing on bottom line. Well, I was there on Saturday night and although the patio was full, inside the restaurant was basically empty. I can't imagine that's good for your bottom line. I do understand that the fair is happening and it's summer- hard restaurant weeks. But still, focus on better quality food and we'll consider coming back. Until then, you're a more expensive, less consistent chain restaurant. I'm truly bummed. This was one of our go-tos for years.
Small dinner salad was excellent. Caper vinaigrette was outstanding. Short rib parpadelle was poor. Beef was fatty and tasteless. Chop chop salad was ok — but not as good as the small dinner salad.
