Lunch with six neighbors on a Friday at noon. Had a nice booth at the back. Ordered drinks and started chatting. Service was casual and unhurried, perfect for our group. Draft beer taps were broken, so bottled beer only. Orders included a cheesburger, chicken club sandwiches, a salmon salad and a fish dish. All were good, but we were paying more attention to conversation than to food. No room for dessert, split the check six ways and we were out of there at 1:30.

We are “regulars” at Zov's Irvine! The food is always delicious, there are so many things on the menu that we like, so despite visiting often, food choice never gets boring. We walk there often with our dog, and patio seating is wonderfully accommodating for her.

FOOD & SERVICE ARE EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS. HOWEVER SO NOISY COULD NOT HAVE A DINNER CONVERSATION WITH FRIENDS. 2 FAMILIES CAME IN WITH CHILDREN WHO WERE SCREAMING, YELLING, RUNNING ALL OVER THE RESTAURANT AND CLIMBING ON THE BOOTHS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR EACH OTHER AS THERE WERE 4 OF US. WE LEFT EARLY. THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ISSUE. MANAGER DID NOTHING TO MAINTAIN A NICE AMBIANCE FOR DINERS. THIS IS NOT A PLAYGROUND, AND RESTAURANTS SHOULD ADVISE PARENTS OF THAT. IF YOU WANT LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO COME BACK, YOU NEED TO FIX THIS!

We live in the neighborhood and have been multiple times over the last 2-3 years. We'd love to go for an occasional drink or snack, but the wine prices have gotten nuts and the selection is mediocre. We wish it was a better option because of its location, but for where it is, the prices have gotten too high.

We dined in for the first time last night. I love the vibe of this place with the modern look and architecture. The bar is awesome and live music was just right. Not too loud and nice dining music. The food at of Zov's locations is very good. The staff and management at this location was first class. We'll be back soon.

Our first time at Zov's was very disappointing. They might have been short staffed in the kitchen and servers because our food came out with issues. We didn't mind the slow service as we were enjoying our outdoor seating talking with our friends. Our food came out either cold or overcooked, not what we were expecting. We were hoping to find a place between San Diego and L.A. to meet. I read reviews that said the food was very good, so we might give it another try.
Zov's is our go-to spot for that perfect blend of good food, good service and a pleasant ambiance. Every experience in the Newport and Irvine locations has been positive, the best of which being the high level of service. Beyond just being proficient, each individual is engaging and personal, making you feel very much at home. It is where we take our out of town guests because it's always enjoyed, it's not just another copy cat chain restaurant which makes it feel unique, and the prices are moderate. Enjoy a cocktail if you wish, there are plenty of vegan choices, and many options from light tapas to luxurious main entrees. And on the weekend, the best brunch in town!

My Benny breakfast as well as my wife's veggie omelet were delicious. Our server graciously served iced coffee even though it was not on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
