The food here was absolutely amazing. I was a little skeptical because it’s in a strip mall and you pay before the food is brought to your table. However, the place was clean, the staff was courteous and most importantly, the food was delicious! I highly recommend checking them out.
Classic taqueria cafeteria style with everything you're looking for. We live across the street put in a take-out order...La Esmeralda 10/10! Green chicken enchiladas, chicken fajitas, and La Esmeralda El Pastor burrito. Salsa bar, chips, pickled carrots and jalapenos...we got everything we wanted! The best in Amador!
The dude at the cash register taking food orders is truly a god like order taker. You people forgot that genuine compassion from these servers is probably more important than the addictive taste you keep paying for
