This is my second time coming to this establishment and each time has been great! Grew up eating a lot of pho and going to a bunch of different pho locations so this place is legit. The owner used to own and manage a pho restaurant in the Sacramento area but retired and closed it down. He is now out of retirement and running this restaurant now. This time around, we ordered the rare steak and beef ball pho, fried egg rolls, and crispy squid. All items came out fast and were all hot and tasty. The pho here always hits the spot - the broth is flavorful and clean. The location is prime as it is in the Safeway plaza so tons of parking, gas station near by, and other restaurants in the vicinity. Inside is clean and the service was great! I will say, this place is a little pricy for pho compared to other pho restaurants but it is still worth the pay since this is the only pho joint in Amador County.

Had an amazing meal, Vermicelli bowl with beef and egg rolls(D11). I have eaten at many Pho style Vietnamese restaurants and Pho Royal is one of the top for flavor and service, period! Nice atmosphere and very clean. Will be returning often!

My husband and I have been here a few times and every time the food is good. The bun bo hue is our new favorite item to get here. You can ask for a side of chili oil or it comes with chili oil, so be ready for some heat! The service is fast and they are attentive to water refills. It's the perfect cozy local spot for us if we are not keen on driving to Sacramento for Vietnamese food. We have yet to try the rice plates but we would love to in the future. Would definitely recommend if you are in Amador county and want to stop for some delicious soup!

I wanted to love it. Chicken Pho was just ok. If you haven't had a lot of Pho before you would probably think it's good. Prices are definately high. The owners work hard but service would be better if they hired additional help.

Just what I needed, a great Pho restaurant that has good food, service, ambience. It's nice to have Hosin and Siracha sauce at the table. The beef broth was delicious, the spring rolls with peanut sauce were delicious. I would love to have real chop sticks rather than wood, but that wouldn't stop me from returning. Good job guys!
Just tried the new Pho Royal. It was delicious, the pho broth was awesomely authentic. Great Asian food is hard to come by. A must try. Not to mention the owners are very friendly, and the service was on point.

This has to be one of the best Pho places I have ever eaten I can't even begin to explain how good the egg rolls are. We ended up getting the order to take home but ate them while we were still there.I just can't recommend this place enough It is so so very good. I thought about the review after I started eating and I took a picture after I started eating but I got the shrimp noodles/soup all the soup start with C And my husband got the house special C which was all beef and it was excellent.But here's the picture that I took after I started eating and I can kick myself for not having photos of everything for you folks.

If you enjoy authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place. Took over the old Vermincelli restaurant. We tried the chicken and shrimp pho to get a taste of how good they are. If they can't make a good broth, the rest doesn't matter. A good friend told us about the place and said all of the food is excellent. I agree. BTW, a small bowl is plenty for 2 meals. Will go frequently.
