Cute colorful cafe in a picturesque town with a few vegan options. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had the flapjacks with berry compote. The flapjacks were tasty and the berry compote was delicious. My husband had the burrito, was filling but could use a side of salsa. The strawberry infused water was a nice change from plain water. We would definitely come back to enjoy more of their menu options. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15

Waited over 20 min to get a table, after asking how long to wait for food, waiter/looks like owner said we should leave, never was treated like that in my 35 years in this country

It is a small but busy dîner. The mother and son duo are great. Everyone is nice. When I ordered a Burger I was given a choice of rye bread instead of the White Bread.

Ate here last week. Haven't been to Rosebuds since we moved, but pretty much the same place it was when we left Amador Co. Wonderful, friendly staff from beginning to end of service. Delicious food and generous pour of coffee. Surprisingly, it wasn't packed, but there was a steady stream of people who were taken care of tout de suite. The falafel on biscuit was moist and not overly seasoned. My husband's eggvbreakfast came with his choice of wonderful homemade fig jam. Our server told us a bit about the local food sources they use as well as their upcoming 35 years in business. I'm happy Rosebuds is still doing well. They've always been good to the community.

The food was good, the service was not. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food. No explanation.

The staff are friendly and the food is good. My only complaint is that the cafe has a really long wait for tables - we waited 30 minutes to be seated and another 40 for a sandwich and some oatmeal. The air conditioner was either broken or not strong enough to cool the space, so it was sweltering inside.

Unbelievably bad service. We actually experienced ethnic discrimination. Don’t go to this place. I am a big coffee fan, but I can’t exchange good coffee for respect!

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. The custard dipped French toast is my personal favorite.

Fantastic cafe! Highly recommend the emerald Isle beignets and miso noodle salad. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable servers. The cafe supports a number of charities and leftover food is fed to goats 🐐

Delicious beignet! Old soul coffee surprised me and tastes so delicious with a splash of oat milk! Blueberry mimosa was divine!

It's a Gem. Welcoming. Service was friendly.
Basic breakfast sandwich was basic but delicious with crispy bacon.
Grits were done right! Very good and large portion.
My son loved the avocado toast and it was a fair portion.

Beignets were very good maybe not as fluffy as New Orleans but still super good and nice topping.

This place is certainly worth a visit.

Stopped through while visiting friends, we decided to eat here because of the reviews. The food was delicious, the beignets were freshly made and the sauces were good. My only complaint would be the prices, $20 for a burger and arugula side salad with nothing else but arugula? Or $20 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and biscuit with gravy? 🤷🏻‍♀️ the live music was beautiful and a nice touch, overall a cute small town cafe.

Stop by to is place today! In a desert of plant based options this cozy cafe delivers big. They have breakfast, lunch, and desert items that are fully vegan and marked as such on the menu. The staff and owners are incredibly welcoming. It is also a 🏳️‍🌈 💅space.

Friendly servers. Super busy but none of the staff seemed overwhelmed even with a now hiring sign in the window :).
Food was spectacular. Had the Main Street Benedict though choosing was difficult. Eggs poached beautifully. Tomato wasn’t soggy or flavorless. Also had the Rosebuds Classic and Cafe Mocha beignets. They were awesome. Not too big or too sweet. Need to go back again. Pies, cookies, brownies, burgers, and so much other good looking food. Coffee was good. I tend more towards darker roasts but theirs was nicely in the middle leaning towards darker roast. Need to try to espresso next time. That was the whole reason I went in in the first place but was just wowed by the menu.
