It was a tough decision for me with all the good Sandwiches, but eventually I decided to order... THE BOSS. If only I lived closer, so that I could walk to Subway as often as I used to back in my former hometown, instead of myself having to ask for rides from others.
Overall, subway is still great. Their prices sure have gone up, almost $20 for a footlong combo. Staff very friendly, quick and efficient. Their new menu was new to me, been a long time since I've been to Subway, and I miss some of the old options, but some of the new ones look great too! Portions of meats seem to have gotten smaller as well, and they only had white, wheat and Italian herbs and cheese breads, no more honey wheat or Sourdough, which was by far my favorite.
What can I say except I enjoy a good dub every now and then. And subway was founded on a good sub at a good price with fresh stuff to top it off with. Who could want more?Well we did! I had not been to any subway in a bit so when I walked in to see new menu items I was blown away, but wait for it. The subs listed sounded great and made my mouth water with anticipation, then the gut punch came! The price! I'm a modest person living on modest means so when I see a sub listed...
