We had previously taken some family pictures here with their beautiful landscaping (small waterfall, bridge over a stream, etc) so we decided to come back and do some actual wine tasting.
We took a Lyft here but it is pretty remote (near Jamul Casino, but a few miles further) and hard to get a driver out, so I don’t recommend it. Having a designated driver makes the most sense. If you have to rideshare, Uber is faster than Lyft in Jamul.
I thought the red wines were nice and easy to drink but I’m not a wine connoisseur. The friends we were with thought the wine overall was good but not great. The 2024 Rose of Cabernet was my favorite, despite being one of the cheaper ones.
Food options were very limited. Just cheese, hummus, meats and crackers, so don’t arrive here hungry.
Our server was very nice and friendly. There was an older gentleman walking around who was equally friendly and helpful. But there was an older lady behind the bar area who was very upset when we moved chairs inside by one window. I still think it makes sense, but don’t do it. Apparently it obstructs the huge bar area walkway.
There were kids running around while we were there. But this place is not kid-friendly, so leave them at home.
Overall, the wine is fine and the setting is pretty. I recommend checking it out, but I probably will not become a regular. For those who live nearby, this place is great.
Wonderful staff and beautiful setting
This place was amazing I went with my mom and grandma and Raquel took great care of us. They had great wine and affordable prices. It’s definitely somewhere you should go if you are considering visiting
The best part was the bartender. He was knowledgeable about the area and just so fun to interact with. The beer and wine were good
Such a lovely vineyard, such good wine! We can really recommend a vineyard tour and buying some nice wine which you can’t get anywhere else ??
We go here once a month for paint nights with Larisse and I love this winery! I am normally not a wine drinker but their wine is amazing!!
The wine tasting was good until someone (we think was one of the owners) came to our table and started talking politics. This person blamed Biden for everything wrong and praised trump. We did not come to a vineyard to hear politics. As a business, please keep in mind that everyone does not share the same political views as you and not everyone has drank the Kool-Aid of misinformation. The wine was good, but because of this, we will never return to this vineyard.
We visited from Miami on a cross country drive, and this was the closest vineyard to San Diego. They have a Groupon for wine flights for groups of up to 8, including $10 off coupons for take-home bottle purchases (their mini bottles make great souveniers). They do not sell hot food, but they have food trucks on site on the weekends, and they allow food deliveries to the location if you want to order some. They also have a build your own charcuterie option where you can select cold cuts and crackers for your table from their fridge. We had a great time. The property grounds have beautiful farm animals like chickens, cows, and goats as well as nice scenery and greenery for some nice family photos. The hostess wasn't incredibly personable with our group, but she made sure our glasses were filled and always came over with a smile when we needed her. We will gladly stop by again the next time we are in San Diego.

Been here 2 times b4 with my winemaker partner. I think the newer winemaker gets it. Gotta have some acid to offset the fruit. Will come here again.
