Such a great place to dine the food was amazing, the asada was nice and tender, the fish was cooked to perfection crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, everything about the place was great. 10/10, definitely try the $20 for all you can eat tacos

I can’t believe I waited this long to try Hacienda Grill — this place is an absolute gem. For just $20, you get access to an all-you-can-eat taco experience that honestly blows a lot of overpriced spots out of the water. Every taco I had was packed with flavor and made fresh to order — nothing felt prepped in advance or microwaved like some other places. The fried fish tacos were next level: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, topped with slaw, white sauce, and fresh tomato that gave it the perfect balance of richness and brightness. The adobada tacos were juicy and bold, and the sliced avocado added a creamy touch that took them to another level. The carne asada tacos? Legitimately some of the best I’ve had — just simple, grilled beef with avocado on a warm corn tortilla, and it didn’t need anything else. Everything tasted authentic, well-seasoned, and cooked with care. For $20, I walked away absolutely full, satisfied, and already planning my next trip back. If you’re craving tacos and want to get serious value for your money, Hacienda Grill is a no-brainer.

For sure lots of potential in the location. The restaurant itself is pretty clean. The soda machine has never been fixed in the past year.

The beans on our fajitas were extremely cold like if they had came out the fridge. The reason why I gave them a decent review was the steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and high quality. They use rib eye in their fajitas.

The service was terrible. They only had one other table and the server never came to take our order. We had to walk up to the register.

It's sad to always see it empty since the location is prime and has a lot of potential. However, they need a lot of work. Probably won't be back because of the poor service.

Another thing. They should only allow service dogs and not pets. It's very unhygienic to have a dog eating next to you with all the hair flying around every time they shake.

I’m a believer. Last night we had the best birria tacos at Hacienda Grill Restaurant & Bar and one heck of a minchelada. The service was impressive. Thankful Jamul finally has a legit Mexican restaurant.

This restaurant serves Mexican but unfortunately they do not have the slightest idea about Mexican food. Staff is not Mexican, possibly Cuban. Anyway, i ordered an egg and potato burrito to go. Despite the place being practically empty (only one other custmer was there) I waited approx 45 min for food to be ready. The burrito was pretty bad and overly priced. Instead of potato or hashbrown, it included stale french fries! How ridiculous is that?! Will not be going back, ever!

Stopped in for a quick bite after driving for a couple of hours. The salsa verde that came with the chips was excellent, as was the red salsa for the tacos we irdered. We each ordered tacos - asados for him and pollo for me. (Chicken tacos weren’t on the menu, but the server quickly suggested when she could tell by my questions that I didn’t want the other kinds of meat on offer.) These tacos were exactly what I crave when I think of tacos! The ingredients were well chosen and prepared (no weird pieces of grizzle that sometimes find their way into chicken tacos-ick) and so tasty and satisfying. Now that I found this place, I wish I didn’t live so far away.

The service was wonderful the hostess / server was very friendly and helpful at about 5:20 someone came out and was playing the piano it was very good and enjoyable during my dinner the food was excellent I ordered the carne asada plate carne asada was cut up in pieces which at first concerned me but you made it easier to put together my little carne asada street tacos off my plate. The chips were very good and appeared to be possibly cooked in the house. The salsa was delicious! Everything was wonderful and I will definitely be back I highly recommend anyone in the area trying this place out
