Ordered a bento with pork katsu and ahi poke in addition is a miso soup. The soup came AFTER the Bento. The pork katsu is fried so well to the point that is came out dry. I like the free appetizers. The ambiance. Its a sports bar that serves Japanese cuisine.
One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers.
A great place to watch the game or watch since you’re up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley.
I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

I have MIXED reviews. either we came right when they were turning over shifts but we waited TOO long for a table and the place was empty -no one knew how to do someone else's job. The manger was there and a guy we asked went to ask him what time happy hour was over and he said 6... they open at 5 and it stops at 7pm but once we got our waiter(s) a younger guy with someone shadowing him- they made it all better. They actually knew what they were doing and did their job well. Food was okay-good. Mushrooms were okay. We really liked the kaarage chicken we disliked the spicy garlic edamame. I got a lobster handroll and don't think it was worth it. The tofu was good. And the views were great.

Good food and awesome server Eileen! She makes frequent trip to our table making sure we got everything we wanted!
Food was delicious and it was a pleasant surprise when we saw the weekday discounts. Service was amazing and the view from the balcony overlooking the rolling hills is top notch.
Our service was excellent!!!! Food was good. Music is loud. Only really thumbs down thing is that they allow people to smoke and hookah at the dining tables. Gross. If they moved the smoking to outside tables it would be perfect!
Best view in sd great place for any occasion good food and so much fun

Usually, I don't like to write negative reviews. But, today is the day. After making a reservation to a place that I have seen multiple times but never dined in. I cast the dice. The venue was open and many seating options. I would recommend outside as inside was way too loud, I could not hear my partner speak, at normal conversation levels. I would not recommend this place for the hard of hearing or a couple looking for a romantic dining experience. Food was nothing spectacular both my partner chicken and my pork for my ramen bowl were over cooked and barely edible. I would have complained to my server, but she disappeared. We only saw here three times during our visit. Overall it was one of our worst dining experiences in the last couple of years.
Our server was named Winter and she was very attentive, offered suggestions and was very kind. We sat outside in the balcony and the outdoor heaters worked great. They had a live DJ inside the restaurant that had everyone enjoying their meal. Food was delicious!! Cocktails were on point- full bar, beer taps and wine. Would eat there again!
The food was ok. I felt that the ramen had zero flavor and was a salt bomb. The service and DJ were awesome.

We arrived at 9:15 for our 9:15 reservation and the whole staff just seemed to be worried about letting us know that they would be closing at 10. I really didn’t think they wanted to be closing at 10 but wanting to leave at 10. I would’ve been more okay with them telling us “we can’t seat you” than picking up chairs and moving lamps and turning off the heaters around us the whole time. Even our server felt the need to mention that all the sauces had been picked up because they were preparing to close. Really awkward experience and food wasn’t worth it.

Fantastic all around. Good job chef.
If you've been here before (May 2024) be prepared for sticker shock because they've increased their prices significantly. They have also removed or changed some things on the menu.I'm not talking about 50¢ or even $1. Most things have gone up around 25%, or even more. It used to be very affordable, but they have new ownership now so I guess they wanted to increase the restaurant's profitability. The food quality is the same; not better, not worse. Service is the same too. Just a huge price jump. It's a shame because we used to come here pretty often and it was my favorite place to eat in the Casino. With this insane leap in prices, it just isn't worth it any more.
