Lived in Jamul since 2016, first time trying this place today. Love mexican food restaurants but this place typically looks empty from outside. DO NOT let that stop you! Got a shrimp burrito with hot sauce, was absolutely amazing. MUCH better than Poncho's or any mexican place in RSD. Large, fresh pieces of shrimp, fresh cabbage, little bit of a bite. Very very good. Will definitely be going back!! Give it a try, love to see this place stay in business!

The machaca burrito. I usually get it with sour cream but I didn’t this time I should have as it might have taken the burrito to 5 stars. Also it doesn’t have egg in it like the typical burritos at taco shops. This place is a restaurant. The presentation was really nice!! The ingredients were top notch and think I’ll add egg and sour cream to the next one to see if it gets it to the 5 stars. Overall I liked the interior and the layout.

This was some of the best Mexican food that I have tried since my 10 month stay in the San Diego area began. I’m getting ready to move and wish I had found this place sooner. I had the chicken tortilla soup and a shrimp burrito. My husband had the carne asada street tacos and he said they were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised. It is not fancy and it’s out of the way but worth the drive.
Parking: There’s lots of parking spaces.

I pass by here everyday on the way home and decided a few weeks ago to stop and get some food. Being that I live so far it's hard to get good food that doesn't get cold or soggy by the time I get home. Today is my 4th time here and everytime they don't disappoint, I mostly get the California burrito, or anything carne asada. The carne asada is so good it's actually seasoned really well (most places aren't or barely are). The staff is always accommodating in separating toppings and such upon request, so my food is just as good when I get home. Definitely recommend this place.

This place has very good Mexican seafood if you don't like Mexican seafood I would eat there because that's what they have it's normally a pretty good place not too busy but sometimes it gets busy God bless you all and have a great day
