We stopped off for a bite to eat at Ocean Cove Bar and Grill and found it to be absolutely delightful. The service was so warm, friendly, generous. He really bent over backwards to serve with a smile. My 4yo enjoyed talking to him as much as we did. The food was delicious. I had the clam chowder and it was some of the best I've ever had- and I'm picky. It had a buttery taste to it that was truly delightful. It was a beautiful day in early March and we were able to comfortably sit outside on the deck which offered a stunning view. There's a glass igloo we could have sat in if it had been too windy. (See it in the background of the picture with the friendly kitty.) If we are in the area, this will become a tradition.

Always great food, warm dishes are served hot and fresh food such as salads, served up cool and crisp. Can't beat the view. You can't miss the location as there is a construction company which has been homesteading highway one project since before July 2023. I'm thinking of planting a mailbox there, cuz I don't want them to miss any letters from home.

Went on a day trip up the coast from San Francisco, stopped at many places by Ocean Cove Bar & Grill has a very inviting atmosphere and you get a great view of the ocean, a nice dining area and a fantastic set up with the bar and the view of the ocean behind it. The staff was incredibly welcoming.

Fabulous lunch spot!! Had the fish & chips and the fish tacos. Tasty!! Washed it down with a crispy beer. Sat out on the patio, threw my feet up and vowed I'd be back for the gorgeous view.

After a long hike, it's a perfect spot to grab a bite. Have some (A+ elevated) diner food with an INCREDIBLE view of the ocean. Also home to the World's Friendliest Calico Cat, who will sit on your lap while you enjoy a Fumé Blanc and a cup of clam chowder, while looking out onto the ocean. I'd love to watch a Niners game here. What a setting!

Definitely the best fish and chips I've ever had fron SoCal to Canada, extra flaky, crisp, non greasy crunchy outside and hearty, thick and light, refreshing fish inside. 10/10. Also the cod tacos were the perfect 2 d dish as we share plates. Light refreshing yet hardy, flaky pulled apart cod filled taco. Great size serving. Fries were also perfection for crispy thin cut krinckel cut.
Had chowder, onion rings, and pasta. The food was good. Price is very reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very welcoming, friendly staff. Very good spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and pickled jalapeños. Surprisingly good Boston-style clam chowder (I just wasn't expecting it!). Beautiful view out from the bar. It's a casual place with good food and a pleasant ambiance.

View is wonderful, especially if it's warm enough to eat on the patio. We ate two meals here. The Shrimp Louie salad was quite good. Our prawns and chips was not, shrimp was overcooked and tough. Service was friendly both trips
