We have stayed at Timber Cove a few times now and the restored midcentury mod hotel feels like high end glamping and the staff is amazingly friendly/helpful.We stayed for my husband’s birthday last year and had a dog-friendly suite. A day trip on the coast. Making stops along Highway 1 to enjoy the views. Coast Kitchen is inside the Timber Cove Resort. Truly a special find. The restaurant has big windows facing the ocean. At sunset, the views are simply fantastic. The menu focuses on seafood. Still, there are land and vegi options. The atmosphere is simple and appropriate for a seaside eatery. The service was great. Very good food. I had the oysters to start, followed by the lamb shank, and finished up with a creme brulee. Everything was excellent, the vibe was rustic and laid back, the service was amazing. Well worth the time if you happen to be in the area. The restaurant is attached to a resort and while we didn't stay there, the rooms look spacious and the views are incredible.
