Truly authentic NY Style Pizza. We got a Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom with extra cheese. Was well done, hot and great taste and chewiness. Recommend highly!!

Pizza and many other Italian dishes that all were fresh and tasty. The pizza sauce wasn't overly sweet and I appreciated that the parmesan on the table tasted like it was blended with other cheeses. We also had the antipasto salad with Italian dressing which was excellent and washed it down with a local brew. Seating is plentiful for small and large parties alike. Overall an excellent experience and an only knocking stars off due to the lack of soap and paper towels in the restrooms.

Excellent food selection and everything is made fresh, customer service is always friendly and helpful... original old country recipes and definitely a nice reminder of yesteryear quality food..!! Amazing Calzones!!

Ok. So given this place is the loval favorite pizza place, I realize this review will not be received well by many. First let me state. Pizza and salad were really good. Salad was a 10/10. Pizza was was a 9/10. The problem was not the food. The service. Service in the why and how part. We ordered the Rocky Special. Which is I imagine their most complicated one since it is loaded with ingredients. We also order a large pepperoni. This I imagine is the simplest one they make other than a cheese pizza. Girl brings out the special. We say we also had a large pepperoni. She replied its coming out next. No problem. We start on the one we have. 10 mins late we ask her what about the other pizza. Yes sir, coming right now. 10 more mins pass and we ask again. Same answer. After a few more mins I go up to the counter and ask them what the hell the deal is. They looki g at reciepts and said what did you order. I told them yet again and they say the one prints out on there side does not have a large pepperoni. I should them mine which clearly shows the order just as I said. They say new system must be the problem. I say its ridiculous that we consume the special and salad. Drink all the drinks and still waiting. One of them offers a refund on that pizza or they will fix it right now and have in ten mins. I explain that I am visiting and took my team out to dinner and one only eats pepperoni and I dont want to punish him because you all screwed up. So we waiting for the pizza. 15 mins later it comes and the girl could not have been colder than if she lived at the north pole. Drop and go. Later I told the owner and she blamed the system as well. My issue is not the system. Fir her to say three times it was coming right out and it not until I go up to the counter tells me that was all lips service. She never checked. Not the first, second or third. That is not the system. That is staff. So again. Great food. Unpopular review. But I dont expect Rockys will be seeing any of us again.

This is definitely a big yes on NYC STYLE PIZZA. i. Was visiting Joshua tree nation park again for like the umpteenth time and was staying at the holiday inn at 29 palms. And of course for some reason I was craving a pepperoni pizza and was gonna go to one of those fast food chains. So driving down the road I've past this place many times and though really how New York can this pizza be in the middle of no where, after all I grew up in Brooklyn and Queens New York. So asked my passenger princess should we check this place out and laughed, she said yes let's go. So I pulled a New York style U-turn. I pulled into the parking lot and sat for a minute checking the place out. We got out of the car walked in and it had a very comfortable atmosphere. It was mid day on a Friday and seen a couple sitting eating 2 smaller pizzas and they looked pretty good. I seen a nicely brown crust with those perfect little burn spots and my eyes and belly got happy. My passenger princess said she had to use the bathroom and told me to order her a Corona. I of course said ok deal. Ok I stood and waited a minute or two while a woman was taking phone orders. I seen they where busy. When it was my turn to ordered I ordered a extra large pizza with pepperoni to go and a Corona while we waited very reasonable price. It took about 15 minutes. They finally called my name I grabbed my pizza and off we went about a mile to the hotel. The car was smelling good. Ok we got to the room I opening the box and the pizza looked just like a pizza I grew up on. My heart was so happy. I true a slice on a plate and took a bite and yes yes yes. My soul was at utter peace. It was just like home. Better then any pizza I had any where else in California. Who are the people creating this masterpiece. This was a great pizza I couldn't believe it. This will now be my go to pizza place. Ugh if only it was closer lol I live in LA NOW I guess I'll be making more trips to Joshua tree. Yep I'm crazy like that, even if it's just fir a damn pizza do not pass this place up. I defiantly recommend this place. PS family friendly and plenty of seating room.

Definitely eat here honestly wasn't expecting much and I'm so glad we came friendly service the salads fresh and tasty the spaghetti was great I really liked the sauce and the pizza was so good they have the best ice! I'd like to see it cleaner I had to clean our table the condiments were all empty my table had none

NY Natives here, can confirm Rocky's is not NY style. Pizza was doughy and chewy, cheese was over cooked. Almost no sauce on the pizza. Good for California I guess but Rocky, take the NY out of the name.
